Breakout cable receivesinformation from the monitorcable and breaks it into separate cables that plug

inputs and to the monitorcontrol box.Note: When integrating withvideo conferencing, an additional breakout cable is needed..

Monitor control boxenables each display toautomatically turn on. It alsoenables the setting to go into standby mode whenmedia:scape is not in use.System is activated by simply connecting a laptop to one of the PUCKs.

PUCK (Personal UserControl Key) plugs intothe user’s laptop and allowsthem to send their content tothe display by touching anilluminated display number.

The switcher connects to the PUCKs, and controls

Integrated pulley sys-tem allows PUCKs to befully retracted into theTechBox to manage cablesand stow PUCKs safelywhen not in use.

NOTE: media:scape componentsmust be installed in the support boxbefore installation of the worksurfaceand grommet.

1. Route power cords from switcher powerbox through appropriate opening, and intoexisting power source.

2. Loosely run plug through zip tie that connects to the switcher control box. Zip tie will be tightened after pucks are adjusted for length.

3. Lower puck pulley box into position.

4. Connect the monitor to the switcher.

• Attach the breakout cable to the back of the monitor "RGB-in" (A).• Connect monitor cable to switcher and breakout cable (B).• Attach control box (C).• Connect IR emitter (if using a projector) (D).• Plug Control Box power cord into monitor (E).• Plug detached power cord (comes with monitor) into control box and power outlet (F).

5. Insert media:scape switcher into opening in support box as shown.

6. Connect pucks to switcher control box.

7. Install puck caddy. Run cord from puck caddy through puck tray and attach to switcher box. Pull pucks through puck tray.

8. Install the worksurface and grommet. Refer to assembly direction # 939502138.

9. Adjust puck length as needed, thentighten zip tie.

10. Install remaining components.
