From Your Pastors…

God never intended for us to live life alone. We need connection with others. We need friends. We need godly wisdom from people who have overcome similar situations. We need encouragement. That’swhyLifeGroupsaresoimportant.Theyfilltheseneeds, and they help you get connected. But, more importantly, LifeGroups give you the opportunity to help others get connected. And, that’s the part we usually miss. Sure, LifeGroups can be about sharing interests and having fun. They can be about learning, and studying, and growing. But it’s time we stop looking at how a LifeGroup will be good for us. It’s time we look at LifeGroups as tools we can use to help change lives for God. It’s not a cliché. YOU are the church. You are the one that God has created to go outside of the walls of the building you meet in every week to reach out and touch the lives of others. Wouldn’t it be great to say that you’re enjoying life, getting more of God, AND making an incredible impact in the life of someone else? 2012 is the “Year of Harvest” at FLC. We believe we will impact more lives for God this year than ever before, and we believe LifeGroups are one of the many ways we’re going to do that. So, get ready to hear from God, and get ready to invite people. Get ready for the harvest!

In His Love,

Pastors Gary and Drenda
