This Addendum shall become part of the Contract Documents and shall be taken into account in the preparation of all bids. Items listed in this Addendum are not necessarily in any numerical or in any other orderly arrangement. Bidders are responsible for becoming familiar with every item of this Addendum. GENERAL COMMENTS Include Pre-Bid meeting minute’s and attendance sheets.

The undersigned Bidder agrees, if this bid is accepted, to enter into an agreement with the Owner, in the form included in the Bidding Documents, to perform and furnish the Work as specified or indicated in the Bidding Documents prepared by Montana Creative Architecture and Design for the Bid Price and within the Bid Times indicated in this Bid and in accordance with the other terms and conditions of the Contract Documents.

The undersigned Bidder must submit bids for all associated Alternates. Failure to do so will result in rejection of the undersigned Bidder’s Bid.

In submitting this Bid, the Bidder represents, as more fully set forth in the Agreement, that:

1. This Bid shall be irrevocable for a period of 60 (sixty) days after the date designated for receipt of Bids;

2. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive irregularities in Bidding; 3. Bidder accepts the provisions of the Instructions and Supplementary Instructions to Bidders

regarding disposition of Bid Security; 4. Bidder will sign and submit the Agreement (AIA Document A101) with required Performance

and Payment Bonds (AIA Document A312) and other documents required by the Bidding Requirements within 15 days after the date of the Owner’s Notice of Award;

5. Bidder has examined copies of the Bidding Documents; 6. Bidder has visited the site and become familiar with the general, local and site conditions; 7. Bidder is familiar with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations; 8. Bidder agrees to ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated

against because of their race, creed, color, sex, national origin, familial status or handicap. 9. Bidder agrees that Prevailing Wage Rates will be paid on this Project. 10. Bidder agrees to all CDBG requirements outlined and 1% Gross Receipts Withholding

Requirements. 11. Bidder has correlated the information known to bidder, information and observation obtained

from visits to the site, reports and drawings identified in the Bidding Documents, and additional examinations, investigations, explorations, tests, studies, and data with the Bidding Documents;

12. This Bid is genuine and not made in the interest of or on behalf of an undisclosed person, firm, or corporation and is not submitted in conformity with an agreement or rules of a group, association, organization, or corporation; Bidder has not directly or indirectly induced or solicited another Bidder to submit a false or sham Bid; Bidder has not solicited or induced a person, firm, or

MEETING MINUTES PROJECT: Kalispell Fairgrounds ADA Improvements PROJECT NO.: 17-12 MEETING NO.: Pre-Bid Meeting DATE: 6-13-17 REPORTED BY: Aaron Wallace & Jennifer Roberts This constitutes my understanding of the items discussed and the decisions reached. In the event that there are any additions or corrections, please contact Montana Creative - Architecture and Design.

*** A. Overview of projects

1. Grandstand: a. Update entry to allow for ADA access to the building b. Leave existing electrical pad, panels, and conduit c. Entry roof at office to be removed d. Inside office one door and wall to be moved and patched as need to

accommodate ADA door clearances in entryway room e. New ramp and stairs covered with roof f. Move fence to allow for ADA ramp

g. Concrete pad sunken slightly to accommodate specialized bricks 1. Bricks bought and installed by others

h. Removal of existing asphalt as needed to accommodate new columns and CMU block at entrance, patch asphalt as needed when completed

i. 2. South Bathrooms

a. New grease trap between the grandstand and bathrooms b. Remove existing bathroom buildings (x2) c. Remove existing concession stand building d. Slab on grade with stem wall footings e. Split face CMU up 4’ with insulation f. Wood framing with metal siding above CMU wall

g. Plumbed for heating in winter h. Will need to re-seed north of new building for all disturbed area, can be

completed in spring without penalty. i. Attached concession stands

1. Only rough plumbing required – all appliances and equipment other than handsink to be provided by others

j. Contractor to install new gas line k. Removal of existing asphalt as needed to accommodate new columns at

entrance, patch asphalt as needed when completed l. Minor wood details to match existing at grandstand entrance

existing conduit under pavement c. Slab on grade with stem wall footings d. Split face CMU up 4’ with insulation e. Wood framing above CMU wall f. Run CMU full height at shower locations

g. Plumbed for future heating in winter h. Minor wood details to match existing at grandstand entrance i. Field verify location to not disturb existing fencing

B. Other Project Notes: 1. Main sewer runs between the grandstand and the bathrooms 2. Water-table is typically at 4’ below grade, hopefully it will be less in fall 3. Start Date: September 1st 2017 4. End Date: December 31st 2017 5. Liquidated damages after December 31st per specifications 6. Working hours at 7am to 7 pm during weekdays, owners are open to having

weekends as an option to work 7. Owner to pay for all permits and fees 8. Match roof to existing Grandstand 9. Match siding (CMU below and metal above) to existing Expo building 10. Window and door trim to match existing door trim on Grandstand 11. Durable materials for high use and longevity of building

C. Grant: 1. Include 1% tax withholding per specifications. 2. Once selected all costs associated with any ADA improvements will have to be

separated from final number. D. Bid breakdown:

1. Separate bid for each project (x3) 2. Do not split Labor and Materials on all buildings

Date: June 15th, 2017 Bid Date: See Architectural TO: ALL PLANHOLDERS The plans and specifications for the above captioned project are hereby modified and/or superseded by this Addendum: PLUMBING: SPECIFICATIONS – No changes at this time. DRAWINGS – No changes at this time. CLARIFICATION –

At the pre-bid meeting, we mentioned that the natural gas line that serves the north bathroom building would be provided by the Contractor. This is not correct. The plans indicate that the natural gas feed to the building will be provided by the service provider. Please bid the project knowing that the gas feed to the building up to the new meter will be provided by the service provider. The gas piping downstream of the meter is to be provided by the Contractor.

MECHANICAL: SPECIFICATIONS –

No changes at this time. DRAWINGS – No changes at this time. ELECTRICAL: SPECIFICATIONS – No changes at this time. DRAWINGS –

E0.1 – Add luminaire Type B: Surface Mount 1x4 – Lithonia – STLED-48L-SLD-LP840 or equal. E2.1 - Add a second switch to each food court to accommodate dual level switching of Type B1. E2.3. – Contractor shall coordinate with CenturyLink to rotate demarcation box inside office closet to accommodate revised wall of office entry. (Office Closet is located inside the building, just behind main service gear)

PRIOR APPROVAL – All material supplied to the project must meet or exceed the quality, performance, and have similar features to the product originally specified. It is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure that substituted equipment matches the exterior dimensions, weight, and configuration of the specified equipment.
