Background State has applied for a federal Fostering Advancements

in Shipping and Transportation for the Long-Term Achievement of National Efficiencies (FASTLANE) Grant

If grant is received, project must start construction in 2 years.

Anticipate 3 years of construction.

If not received, will re-apply in 2017 (up to 5 years)

No design for project

Data collection/preliminary engineering will begin in this month.
