Discovering Shellac

Hace tiempo que quería probar la manicura Shellac de CND.

Sabía que en París habría poco tiempo para hacerme las uñas, y las quería tener bien. El Shellac dura de

una semana y media a dos semanas en perfecto estado, así que el miércoles pasado fui a Slow Life

House en Madrid para probarla. Habían tantos colores a elegir! Al final me decanté por el negro. He

quedado muy contenta con el resultado. Una semana después, el brillo sigue durando y no se han

descascarillado.

Las llevé negras lisas ayer para ir al desfile de Chanel, y por la noche, le añadí una capa de purpurina de

American Apparel. Lo que más me gusta es que puedes aplicar otras capas de brillos y/o dibujos encima,

y si quitas esa capa con un quita esmalte sin acetona, te queda la capa de Shellac intacta debajo.

I´d been wanting to try CND´s Shellac for ages.

I knew Paris would be pretty hectic, & I woouldn´t really have time to do my nails. Shellac is supposed to

last perfectly for a week & half to 2 weeks, so I decided it was the perfect time to try it. So last

Wednesday I took myself to Slow Life House in Madrid to get my nails done professionally. It took me

ages to decide on a colour! Finally I decided I´d try out the black colour. One week later, I´m thrilled

with the result: the colour still shines, & hasn´t chipped yet.

I wore them black for the Chanel show yerterday, then added a layer of glitter from American Apparel

for the after party in the evening.

Another great thing about Shellac is that you can add other colours, glitter or draw on top of it- then

remove that layer with acetone-free nail polish remover- and the Shellac layer stays intact!
