WHY STUDYACCREDITED COURSES?

Your qualification will potentially put

you in a higher earning bracket.

WHY CHOOSE NTCACCREDITED COURSES WITH COLLEGE SA?

We are a private distance learning college accredited by Umalusi, the Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training (accreditation number

15FET02 00025) to offer NATED: Engineering Studies N1 – N3 qualifications. As a training provider, we offer technical courses in boilermaking, welding, fitting and turning, motor

mechanics and electrical engineering. Umalusi is the quality assurance council in General Education and Training. They set the quality standards and criteria to uphold the academic

rigour of the qualifications as offered by College SA. This means that the study material is of a high quality and relevant to your chosen technical field. It also means that Umalusi ensures

that training providers comply with set criteria so that you receive up-to-date information and training. Umalusi is nationally recognised by employers and national higher education institutions, meaning you are able to further your technical studies at almost any higher

education institution, and employers trust the knowledge that you have already built, which increases your employability.

Accredited courses are nationally

recognised, and sometimes

internationally recognised,

depending on the course.

Accredited qualifications are higher in demand

and generally present you

with more jobopportunities.

Many accredited courses allow you

exemptions at other institutions, meaning that your

prior learning is recognised when

enrolling for courses at other

institutions.

You can often level up! Once you have laid the necessary foundations, you can build on your

qualification which will broaden your

knowledge and career prospects.

NTC ENGINEERING FITTER & TURNERSTUDY PATH

This course is part of a set of courses that allow you to level up your skills. You start with your studies at Foundation Level 1 and each time you pass a course, you have the opportunity to start studying the next one. The more courses you study, the more skills you acquire.

What is an NTC Bridging Course? The NTC Bridging course is aimed at students who do not meet the entry requirements for the National Technical Certificate (NTC) N1 course. This NTC Bridging course is designed to help strengthen the student’s skills and deepen their knowledge in two course components, namely Fundamental Numeracy (Mathematics) and Physical Science. This course focuses specifically on the Grade 9 Mathematics and Physical Science curriculums, and will help you meet the entrance requirements for any College SA Technical course (Motor Trade, Electrical, Boilermaking, Fitting and Turning, and Welding)
