GENERAL INFORMATION:

• FAC staff/augmentees (to include self-testing units) and testmembers must be aware of current COVID-19 status and takeprecautionary measures to keep themselves and everyone aroundthem safe

• FAC staff/augmentees will:o Wear a face cover during interactions and fitness

assessmentso A facemask designated for a healthcare worker is not

required, a cloth face cover is sufficiento If gloves are worn, they must be changed regularly

and are not a substitution for handwashing• Test Members will:

o Wear a face cover while waiting or moving betweenfitness assessment stations

o A facemask designated for a healthcare worker is not required, a cloth facecover is sufficient

• Facility requirement – maximize fresh air through ventilation system• Have a plan in place to assist with contact tracing if a staff member or test member becomes ill/

tests postive with COVID-19o Maintain a record of all test members and augmentees with most up to date contact

information and unit information• Pay attention and follow the guidance issued by local public health authorities• When indoors, ONLY test 4-6 people at a time (8-10 if outdoors) and maintain 6 feet distance

during muscular fitness testing• Reduce number of ‘contact points’ (prop doors open, discontinue use of check-in touch pad)• Install Plexiglas, if possible, as a barrier between counter and test member or position counter 6

feet from test member• Follow CDC and manufacturers’ guidance on proper way to clean and sanitize furniture,

• Train all staff on cleaning methods in accordance with CDC guidance; include use of proper PPEduring cleaning

FAC CLEANING:

• Ensure you have and/or can acquire an appropriate amount of ‘hygiene supplies’, including solidsurface cleaner, disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper

• Wipe down all equipment immediately after each individual changes outo Matso Toe-hold barso Stop watches (remove cloth lanyards/straps)

• Follow CDC guidance on cleaning all surfaces inside your facility with the proper solid surfacesanitizer or bleach solution

REOPENING FAC OPERATIONS The reopening process will be gradual as restrictions are relaxed based on local and state policies.

Modified Operations

Number of daily test sessions based on local requirements and conditions.

• Visual aids and signs with symptoms, hand washing procedures, or any other learning material must be present and used as a reference as necessary

• Maximum of 6 test members per session (maximum of 10 if testing outdoors)

• 2 FAC staff members or augmentees (if needed)

• Limit number of patrons at the customer service counter; utilize 6 feet spacing markers on flooro Test member will

Test three at a time to allow for appropriate spacing between test members

• Completing the Processo Test members will use a designated pen to sign AF Form 4446, Air Force Fitness Assessment

Scorecard; pen will be sanitized after each use Test members may use their own pen

o Ensure all test members have a copy of AF Form 4446

Normal Operations Standard operating hours with access to all facilities and services

• Return to normal operations• Adhere to fitness assessment guidance and restrictions provided from AFPC and AFSVC• Follow guidance for the current HPCON

• Monitor employee health status with heightened awareness

• Supply hand sanitizer containing at least 60% ethanol at each facility entrance

HEALTH PROTECTION CONDITIONS (HPCON) LEVELS For all levels, if FAC staff/augmentee or test member is ill/possibly symptomatic with COVID-19 symptoms, neither should be involved in the fitness assessment.

HPCON levels outline specific actions individuals can take in response to an infectious disease outbreak. Increased control measures can also apply to fitness centers to further reduce the potential spread of disease as disease transmission becomes more widespread in the community.

HPCON ALPHA

• FAC Managers/staff increase vigilance to monitor employee health status• Supply hand sanitizer containing at least 60% ethanol at each facility entrance, in each

exercise room, and at customer counters for staff and customer hand hygiene• Supply disposable disinfecting wipes for customers’ use on high-touch surfaces• Implement enhanced sanitation practices by increasing the frequency in which high-touch

surfaces within common areas of the establishment are cleaned and sanitized or disinfected

HPCON BRAVO

OUTBREAK OR HEIGHTENED EXPOSURE RISK POSSIBLE If testing continues, installations are strongly cautioned to continue all previous recommended actions and:

• Administer daily employee COVID-19 health screening prior to augmentee shift

• All personnel must wear a mask when not performing test components

• Supervise/enforce hand hygiene (hand sanitizer application or handwashing) for all personnelo Post signs to remind patrons to sanitize their hands upon arrival and before departing the FA
