What is the difference between a fruit and a vegetable?

A vegetable is any edible part of a plant • Seeds• Stems• Leafs• Roots• Fruit itself

A fruit is the part of the plant that contains seeds for replanting

Another way to classify fruit and vegetables is based on taste. Some people believe that fruit have a sweeter taste than vegetables do, making fruit more of a dessert, and vegetables more of a meal.
