C1 Pneumatic Controller DVC6200 Digital Valve Controller

Environmental Solutions + Energy Reductions

DVC6200 and i2P are CSA approved for natural gas, and meet ANSI/ISA 12.27.01 requirements as a single sealed device. Who else shares this capability?

DVC6200 Series Digital Valve ControllerFIELDVUE DVC6200 series digital valve controllers are HART and FIELDBUS communicating, microprocessor-based current-to-pneumatic instruments.

Three important functions are performed by the DVC6200 Series instrument:

• Traditional positioning of a control valve by converting the 4-20mA or FIELDBUS input signal from the process controller to a pneumatic output signal to the actuator.

• Automatic calibration and confi guration utilizing the power of microprocessor technology.

• Communication capability via the HART or FIELDBUS communications protocol to provide instrument and valve diagnostic information.

One platform for any pneumatic actuator application. The DVC6200 Series can be installed on sliding stem, rotary, double- or single-acting actuators. The DVC6200 has over 2000 different mounting kits for over 180 different manufacturers’ actuators. It is available in SIS construction for on-off valves. It has non-contacting feedback,a nd is ideal for high-vibration and other diffi cult applications.

DVC2000 Series Digital Valve ControllerDesigned in accordance with NAMUR standards, the DVC2000 can be mounted on Fisher and other brand actuators, enabling the industry-leading FIELDVUE performance to be applied to a wide range of applications across all industries. Superior performance is made possible by a two-stage, pre-amplifi er design that multiplies small changes in the pneumatic signal, and by the digital tuning algorithm used to confi gure the instrument to suit the actuator.

Magnetic technology in the position feedback system improves DVC2000 reliability on linear and rotary valves.

Simplifi ed instrument mounting is also a feature of the linkage-less design, as is removal of the instrument from the valve, should it be required for maintenance.

The DVC2000 is intended to complement the DVC6200 in the following areas:

• On board limit switches as an option• Cost-effective alternative for IS applications • LCD display and local push buttons for

confi guration

• Optional position transmitter• Proven non-contacting feedback

Simplicity. Reliability. Performance. Diagnostics. I/O Options Package.

Energy-responsible Transducers: Fisher i2P-100 SeriesAn I/P transducer that is ideal for natural gas, and designed to meet environmental concerns, but optimized to provide maximum up-time. It features dual compartments with an “explosive-fl uid seal” to prevent natural gas from migrating to the electrical conduit.

Additional advantages include:

• corrosion resistance• tolerance to dirty supply• vibration resistance• CSA approved for natural

gas, and meeting ANSI/ISA 12.27.01 requirements as a single sealed device
