First Year Mentors (FYMs) are upper-class student leaders who are here to support you and your transition to Pitt. During

Fall and Spring semesters, the FYMs plan and promote campus events to make

sure your first year at Pitt is outstanding!

First YearSuccess Series

First year students will get certificates and personalized gifts from Office of First Year Experience, after attending a certain number of First Year Success Series Events and completing related requirements.

Connect with other students while learning about campus resources and ways to get involved in campus life.

Boxes & WallsWednesday, Nov 7 | Noon–9 p.m. William Pitt Union Main FloorThe 4th Annual Boxes & Walls Program provides you with a unique experimental program to explore diversity and inclusion through interactive displays on a guided tour through a series of rooms. Students should plan to spend 45-60 minutes at Boxes & Walls.
