Dear Parishioners, Everybody is invited to Steve Patton’s talk about Purgatory this coming Monday, March 2
nd from 6:30PM to
8:30PM in the St. Gabriel room. This is a very important topic in our Christian spirituality that was neglected or almost forgotten during the last few decades.
Steve serves as a Community Liaison for Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services and he has incredible theological knowledge. He is a former lawyer and received his M.A. in Theology from Franciscan University in 1997 and has been working full time for the Catholic Church ever since.
I would also like invite you to our Lenten Penance Service on Tuesday, March 10
th at 7PM. I am telling you early
so you can mark you calendars now. Please do not wait until the end of Lent to go to confession as we priests get very busy as Easter gets closer.
Finally, for those of you who are interested in a pilgrimage to Poland this year with me, the flyers are now available in the vestibule and in the office with all the details. The trip will be in September, leaving Wednesday, the 9
th and returning on Tuesday, September 22
nd,
2020. I am nicely surprised with the great interest in this trip. Please sign up quickly as there seems to be much interest and space is limited. Here is a small taste of the trip however check the flyer for more information please.
