Dear Parent/Guardian, Hello everyone...its the second month already and the weather has begun to turn. October is one of my favourite months, not least because the trees are rapidly turning to orange and gold and it is much cooler. Can I ask that as the temperature has dropped, you ensure that your child is appropriately dressed, particularly when it is cold and wet. Equally, can I emphasize that students need to be picked up promptly at 3:00pm as they cannot be safely supervised after this period. There have been a number of incidents already this year of individuals, not on school business, approaching the school buildings. Whereas these incidents were dealt with swiftly, it highlights the need for students to go home at the end of the day. As ever, safety is paramount and I appreciate your patience and sup-port in this matter. Equally, can I ask that during the morning drop off, parents remain out of the yard. When we have supply teachers and even regular teachers and EA’s on duty, it is difficult for them to discern who is a parent and who is not. In the interests of safety please remain on the East side of the fence in the play area during this time. As ever, your patience and support is appreciated. D.
