Organising the Data

By seeing each objective beneath its specific strand, and using the coloured performance indicators, it's easy to see which students have mastered the objective or where intervention may be needed.

Look out for this icon to see when an assessment is in progress or has been saved to go back to later. Additionally, as students are taking an assessment you can refresh the page to see results in real time.

You can easily see students’ progress and sort them via lowest to highest scores or alphabetically. This will allow you to organise your data report to suit your needs.

1. Once your students have taken an assessment, you can go into SuccessTracker, select Assessment Report, find the assessment you set and click ‘View Report’.

PreviewAssessment:From the report, you can view the assessment your students have taken.

Intervention:

Now you have the data, how do you analyse it effectively?

Data Analysis:

The report quickly identifies where students are struggling. You will be able to plan where additional support and practice is required for both individuals or groups of students.

Select an objective to view the questions aligned to it within the assessment. You can then see the students' performance at question level as the report indicates questions that were answered correctly, incorrectly or not attempted.

2.

This helps to reduce teacher workload

by providing immediate, easy-to-read

assessment results.

Analysing the Data

Deeper Analysis: Clicking on a tick, cross, dash or the question itself will show students' attempts to that individual question. This will allow you to see where misconceptions have occurred.

How do you see the answers students gave, easily compare the data and identify areas for further focus?

Managing the assessment data has been made quick and easy. Simply click on the ticks and crosses to open up the question data. From here you can view how many students answered correctly, incorrectly or did not attempt the question.

HELPING YOU TO...

Students will only be able to attempt an assessment (and a question in the assessment) once. The numbers on each tab refer to how many students answered incorrectly, correctly or did not attempt. This information will inform planning, so you know which additional content to assign to which students.

A Revision Journal will be automatically generated after the assessment (if it has one available) to help students improve their knowledge and skills on specific concepts. You can also use MyCities to assign content to different groups of students where further practice is required.
