First Grade At Home Learning Packet
For the week of March 23 – 27th please do the packet of worksheets.
Also attached is a calendar with assignments starting March 30th. Your child may complete the assignments each day.
If this continues past next 2 weeks. Your child will continue using this calendar daily. The stories would be read as follows:
April 6th: A Tree is a Plant
April 13th: The New Friend
April 2oth: The Dot
April 27th: What Can You Do?

First Grade Reading:
1. Read for at least 20 minutes each day. 2. Complete a comprehension passage page daily.
Vocabulary:
1. Study sight words each day. Use the sight words orally in sentences.
Writing:
1. Write 3- 5 sentences each day about what you did during your day or a book you read. Illustrate with detail and colors.
2. If a writing page is in the packet you may do that instead of the above.
Math:
1. do the worksheets that are in the packet on addition, subtraction, telling time, place value, or geometry
2. Study math facts
