TransportationAirport to HotelThere are two airports in Shanghai, which are shown on the map.
Taxi is our recommended means of transportation for first-time visitors. It costs around RMB220 from Pudong International Airport and RMB120 from Hongqiao International Airport to Baosteel Group Baoshan Hotel. Please show the address in Chinese below in case the taxi driver cannot understand you.
Pudong International Airport also operates six bus routes, connecting the airport with different areas in central city. You can take No. 4 bus (open from 8:00 to23:00, departing every 20-30 minutes), and get off at the third stop, Dabaishu stop, then go to the hotel by taxi. It costs about RMB75 but takes longer time. The terminal bus station is outside Airport Gate 16, Floor One of Pudong International Airport.
It is too complicated for foreigners to take public transportation from Hongqiao International Airport to Baosteel Group Baoshan Hotel. Taxi is the best way.
