Starting with our September Just Joy service we will offer a service for school age children beginning at 6 pm until roughly 6:45 pm. The

Junior Joys service will primarily be separate from our existing service and will be geared for the younger age groups of the special needs

community. Additional volunteers are needed for this service, and please help us spread the word!

We are looking forward to a very special Sunday with our very special friends. Kate Brueck from Joni and Friends Ministries will speak to all

middle school, high school and adults during the Sunday school hour and our special needs friends will help lead worship during the 11:00 service.

JUST JOY is selling car magnets for $5.00 each.

They can be purchased in the church office or from the basket in the Connector.

All American Athletes to offer a sports league to children with special needs. Our first season - kickball - will begin September 29th at 4:00pm at Tirzah ARP. Volunteers are needed to help partner with the children, serve as

The first Splash, Dash, ‘N’ Bash will be held on Saturday, October 12 from 9:00a.m. to noon. This Family Fun Biathlon will begin with a swim at the YMCA and continue with a walk/run to First ARP. Once participants reach the church, there will be a “Bash” of fun with free refreshments, bounce castles, and other activities. There will also be special activities for our friends with special needs.

Volunteers are needed! Those interested in volunteering can contact Rebecca Gilleland

([email protected]) Dash, Bash, Crash, and Cash While the participants Dash, Bash, and maybe even Crash a little, the parents and the public will enjoy browsing and shopping for gifts, home decor, pottery, wood crafts, and even some yummy baked goods at the Bazaar in the First ARP Fellowship Hall. Bring your cash to purchase items or make some cash by sharing your talents and selling your wares at the Bazaar. Please contact Joanne Mauldin at 493-2287 or [email protected] if you are interested in “making” some cash. Information and registration forms will be available in the weeks to come. Monies raised will go towards our daughter church, RiverCrossing ARP.

RiverCrossing Church Update: Please pray for us as we prepare for our public launch on

September 15th at 10:00 a.m. We want to thank all of you that have given financially for the supplies and equipment that

HARPS Will meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month

Many thanks for helping us spread the word about First ARP Preschool. We are excited to be beginning a new school year with lots of new faces! As we gather our supplies for the year, you can once again help us out. Our Giving Tree will be in the T-hall for the next few weeks. If you would like to help us, you can take a leaf off the tree, purchase the item, and return it to the preschool. We also have a Target List this year too. You can search for us using "First ARP" as the first name and "Preschool" as the last name at www.Target.com or at the Registry kiosk in the store. Thank you so much for helping us make our supply dollars go further!
