CHRISTOPHER C. TILLERY ASSOCIATE Chris Tillery moved to the Midwest as a teenager from New Orleans, Louisiana. He obtained his law degree from the University of Kansas in 2006. Prior to joining the Firm, Chris served as a law clerk in the 10 th Judicial District Court of Kansas. While working for the Honorable Thomas Sutherland and other district court judges, Chris gained valuable experience in all areas of civil law, from research and analysis of complex business disputes to legal writing in the form of both memoranda and draft opinions. Since joining the Firm as an associate in 2008, Chris has represented a variety of business and commercial clients as defense counsel in the areas of business and commercial litigation, employment discrimination and retaliation, construction defect and design error, medical malpractice, products’ liability and premises liability. He has extensive case management experience in all stages of litigation, including written discovery, pre-trial and post-trial motions, and direct and cross examination of witness testimony at deposition or at trial. He also has broad familiarity with all aspects of dispute resolution, including pre-suit negotiations, mediation, arbitration, and pre-trial settlement conferences.
