FireNET Plus 1127 - ANALOG ADDRESSABLE FIRE ALARM CONTROL PANEL™

The FireNET™ Plus 1127 series control panel is ananalog addressable fire alarm panel with build optionscontaining 1 or 2 SLC loops, a Digital AlarmCommunicator/ Transmitter (DACT), and an RS-485bus for network communication. Each SLC loopsupports 127 devices of any combination (sensors ormodules), and 127 analog sounder bases, for apossible total of 254 points per loop. Communicationbetween devices is accomplished by use of standardcable (shielded or twisted pair is not required). Eachpanel includes a 4-amp power supply and has 2 on-board NAC circuits. The RS-485 bus providescommunication to the panel network while anotherRS-485 bus provides communication for peripheraldevices. The RS-232 interface allows the convenienceof programming via a PC. The system will support avariety of Hochiki devices; photo, ion and heatsensors, which contain a unique, patented sensordesign incorporating automatic drift compensation andday/night sensitivity modes. Additional devicesinclude contact monitors, relay controllers, supervisedauxiliary output and short circuit isolator modules. Inaddition, interfaces to conventional detection systemscan be established by using a conventional zone-monitoring module. The Loop Explorer Windows®Software interface provides the installer with fingertipaccess to installation programming and diagnostictools. An Auto Learn feature offers the conveniencefor quick start applications. The FN-LCD-N type LCD network annunciator isdesigned to be used with the FireNET analogaddressable system. Each FN-LCD-N is completelyindependent. The highly intuitive user interface and320 character LCD display of the FN-LCD-N is exactlythe same as the FireNET panel. In addition to routingany panel in the network to the FN-LCD-N, every eventcategory within each panel can also be individuallyrouted, as well as routing of all remote control functions(reset, alarm silence, re-sound alarm) from individualpanels. ENGINEERING SPECIFICATION

The contractor shall furnish and install where indicated on the plans, the network annunciator model FN-LCD-N.The FN-LCD-N shall connect to the FireNET fire alarm control panel (FACP) network. The network annunciatorshall be capable of annunciating on its 320 character display and local buzzer, the condition of any FireNET FACPor network annunciator on the network. Up to 64 FN-LCD-N network annunciators or FireNET FACP's may beconnected together on the network. The FN-LCD-N shall be UL listed, and have surface or flush mount capability.

FN-LCD-S - SERIAL LCD ANNUNCIATOR


DESCRIPTION

The FN-LCD-S serial annunciator provides aconvenient and cost effective remote annunciatorsolution. Up to 15 FN-LCD-S annunciators can beconnected to the slave RS-485 port of the FireNETcontrol panel or network annunciator. The FN-LCD-S’slarge 320 character display and navigation buttons area complete mimic of the FireNET control paneldisplay. The use of a common interface allows theuser to easily operate the FN-LCD-S as if he wereoperating the FireNET control panel directly.

ENGINEERING SPECIFICATION

The contractor shall furnish and install where indicated on the plans, the serial remote annunciator modelFN-LCD-S. The FN-LCD-S shall connect to the FireNET fire alarm control panel (FACP) or networkannunciator (FN-LCD-N) RS485 slave bus. The serial remote annunciator shall annunciate on its 320character display and local buzzer, the condition of its master FireNET FACP. Up to 15 FN-LCD-S serialannunciators may be connected together on a single RS-485 FireNET slave bus. The FN-LCD-S shall beUL listed and compatible with the Hochiki FireNET control panel, and have surface or flush mountcapability.
