1 SAP Fiori Sales Rep

Purpose

The purpose of this document is to describe the general configuration steps required tomanually set up the configuration. The system landscape must have already been installed.Check the prerequisites carefully. After the configuration, you should be able to run theprocess described in the corresponding Business Process Document.

2 Configuration Steps for SAP Fiori Sales Repapps

2.1 PrerequisitesBefore starting the installation, complete the following activities:

2.2 Configuration in the Backend System

2.2.1 Assign the Backend Role for the User

UseIn this step, you assign the backend role for the user.

Procedure1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

3. On the Change Roles screen, make sure that there is a green light on the Authorizationtab page. Choose the User tab page, input User ID as backend user, and then chooseSave (Ctrl+S).





2.3 Configuration in the SAP Netweaver GatewaySystem

2.3.1 Activation of Gateway Service in SAP NetWeaverGateway

Use

In this step, you configure services for all Sales Rep apps in the SAP Netweaver Gatewaysystem.

Result

After have completed this procedure, you have activated the SAP Netweaver Gatewayservice to retrieve data for the application.

In case an error message shows up indicating that the http request failed then checkthe following:

a. Does the trusted RFC connection work properly?b. Check in the Trust Manager (transaction strust) if the SSL certificates are set

up properly so the gateway system can communicate properly with therespective backend server.

2.3.2 Activate Gateway and UI5 ServicesUse





In this step, you activate Gateway and UI5 services in SICF transaction

Procedure

however – the odata services in the subtrees sap opu odata sap should already beactive. In case they are not they are activated as described in chapter Activation of GatewayService in SAP NetWeaver Gateway :
