Employees' State Insurance Corporation is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act; 1948) and works under the administrative control of Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India. Employees' State Insurance Corporation proposes to fill up the Teaching Faculty - Professors, Associate Professors ,Assistant Professors, Tutors for ESIC Dental College located at Gulbarga, K.arnataka on contractual basis through walk in interview. The Registration process for the eligible candidate shall start from 9:00 A.M on 30.01.2019 for Teaching Faculty & 31.01.2019 for Tutors. Note:

1. Numbers of vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease depend on actual requirement.

2. J\ge relaxation is applicable to reserved candidate as per rules in force. 3. ESIC reserves right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage at its discretion and such

decisions will be binding on all concerned. 4. Candidate intending to apply for Teaching Faculty and Tutor have to submit separate

applications.

Relaxation in upper age limit shall be applicable to SC,ST,OBC, Persons with Disabilities, Ex-Servicemen and other categories of persons as per the instructions/orders of the Central Government of India.

Candidates claiming reservation/age relaxation on grounds of OBC should submit the community certificate in updated original as per Annexure-A, as prescribed vide Govt of India, Dept of personnel and training O.M No 36036/2/2013 Estt.(Res.) dated 30.05.2014 failing which benefits of reservation/age relaxation will not be given and their application shall be rejected. Certificate issued in other format will not be accepted and candidate will be treated as general category for all purpose.

1. PAY & ALLOWANCES:

a.) ESIC has adopted Consolidated Remuneration structure for Contractual Faculty (Teaching Faculty and Tutor as p er ESIC Headquarters letter No. A-12/16/6/2018 (Contractual-Exam) dated: 23/01/2018.

b.) Candidates_ appointed on contractual basis will be paid Consolidated Pay as per the cpc.

Details are as under:

c) In addition to above, No other allowances like D.A, N.P.A, HRA etc. would be payable. d) No Private Practice is allowed during the tenure of service in ESIC.

2. TERMS OF CONTRACT:-a) Selected candidates shall be appointed .purely on contractual basis. b) Contractual Period of Tutor is I Year. c) Contractual Period of Teaching Faculty is 1 Year or till the regular faculty joins

whichever is earlier.

d) The Contractual engagement may be terminated/ discontinued on either side giving one month prior notice to this effect without assigning any reason.

e) Other terms and condition will be applicable as issued by competent authority from

time to time. f) This being 1 yr contract, absence for period beyond 15 days will be treated as abandonment

of duty and the contract will be terminated without any reason and security deposit will be

forfeited.

g) He/She will be required to deposit a Security Deposit of Rs.56,000/-for the post of Tutor through Demand Draft in favor of ESI Corporation payable at Gulbarga at the time of joining which is refundable after completion of contract period and production of "No Dues Certificate".

The amount of Rs.56,000/-for the post of Tutor will be appropriated towards the ESI Fund in case the appointed candidate terminates his contract within six (06) months of the date of reporting towards Administrative cost.

3. HOWTOAPPLY: a.) Candidate can walk-in and register for interview from 9:00AM to ll:OOAM

on their respective dates. Registration will Close at 11:00 am sharp. b.) Application shall be available at the Dental College building. c.) Candidates should produce all the original documents in respect of all the parameters filled in

the form during scrutiny on the day of Walk-in-Interview.

d.) Candidates are requested to report by 9AM at the venue on scheduled dates.

e.) Please bring all following relevant Original certificates and their self attested photocopies

(2sets), 2 copies of passport size photographs and the relevant certificates issued by the

competent authority in the form prescribed by Government of India, Department of

Personnel & Training for consideration of reservation to the reserved candidates. Fa~ling

which they will not be allowed for interview.

4. SELECTION PROCEDURE:

a.) Selection will be made on basis of interview of candidates which will be

conducted by the duly constituted selection board. b.) All eligible candidates should apply in the application form at available at the registration

counter (College building) on 30.01.2019 for teaching faculty & 31.01.2019 for tutor.

c).Selected candidates will have to join immediately after receipt of offer of Appointment. d). The final selection will be based purely on performance in the interview.

5. GENERAL CONDITIONS:

a. Mere submission of application does not confer any right to the candidate to be

interviewed.

b. The applications found to be incomplete will be summarily rejected.

c. Wrong declarations/submission of false information or any other action contrary to

law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.

d. On the day of Walk-in-Interview, the candidates should produce No Objection

Certificate(NOC)from present employer.

e. The interviews shall be conducted at the Office of the Dean, ESIC Dental College,

GULBARGA. However, ESIC reserves the right to change the venue and dates, if needed .

f. Canvassing in any form will be disqualification. g. The ESIC reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage at its discretion

and such decision will be binding on all concerned.

h. Rules of reservation will be implemented as per GOVT of INDIA instructions.

1. No T AIDA will be admissible for interview or joining.

J. No claim for any services like PF, Pension, gratuity, Dental allowances, seniority,

promotion and leave will be admissible.

k. Teaching Faculty may be eligible for leaves as per the central govt. 1. Tutor are eligible for only 1 day leave per month.
