1 Sew a 2½" square to the side of 1–2½"x 7" rectangle. Continue sewing 2½"x 7" rectangles on alternate sides, matching the bottom edges as shown. Add a total of 40–2½"x 7" rectangles (20 on each side). Repeat to make 7 braided rows.

2 Trim the 7 braided rows to 7½" wide. Trim the braid top.

Assemble Quilt

3 Combine the 7 braids. Trim the bottom.

7 Join the 8–2½"x WOF binding strips. Layer, quilt, bind and ENJOY!

4 Borders: Note: before adding each border, measure across the center of the quilt for the best measurements for the length of each border. Join 6–2½"x WOF inner border strips. Cut 2 side and a top and bottom border. Add the inner borders to the sides first then top and bottom. Join the 7–6½"x WOF final border strips. Add the final borders to the sides first then top and bottom. Press.
