ATTACHE• Plier / repasser les attaches (G) en deux dans

la longueur, puis les longs bords de 1 cm (⅜’’) sur l’envers (6) pour former des guides.

• Déplier, ramener une extrémité endroit contre endroit, coudre le bout tel qu’illustré sur environ 7.5 cm (3’’) (7) et réduire le coin.

• Tourner sur l’endroit, ramener les bords pliés ensemble et surpiquer pour fermer (8).

• Épingler l’attache à l’élastique dos, alignée avec la couture (9) et coudre près du bord.

DEVANT• Épingler les pièces de devant (A) en faisant

correspondre les crans simples et coudre la fourche (10).

• Ramener les crans du pli endroit contre endroit et coudre sur la longueur de la ligne indiquée sur le patron (11).

• Ramener les plis vers le centre, repasser et coudre au point de bâti (long point droit), près du bord vif du tissu (12).

PASSANTS• Finir un des bords à la surjeteuse (ou au

zigzag, et plier chaque pièce en trois (13) et surpiquer tel qu’illustré (14).

• Couper deux pièces de 7 cm (2 ¾’’) (15).• Plier une des extrémités de 1 cm (⅜’’) sur son

envers (16).• Épingler au pli, vers le centre (17) et coudre près

du bord supérieur.

DOS• Épingler les pièces du dos (B) en faisant

correspondre le cran double et coudre la fourche (1).

• Plier la ceinture dos (F) en deux, envers contre envers, sur la longueur et repasser (2).

• Épingler la ceinture pliée au bord supérieur du dos et coudre (3).

• Insérer l’élastique dos dans la ceinture et coudre aux extrémités (4).

• Aux ourlets DOS ET DEVANT, tracer une ligne guide à 4 cm (1 ½’’) du bord (5), plier sur l’envers et repasser pour préformer l’ourlet.

BACK• Pin back pieces at crotch seam,

matching double notches, and stitch (1).• Fold waistband back (F) in half lengthwise, wrong

sides together, and press (2).• Pin folded waistband to top edge of back and

stitch (3).• Feed back elastic through casing and stitch

across the ends as shown (4).• On FRONT AND BACK HEMS, draw a line, 2

and 4 cm (1 ½’’) from bottom edge. Fold to wrong side and press to pre-form the hem (5).

TIE• Fold / press ties in half lengthwise, wrong sides

together, then each side by 1 cm (⅜’’) to wrong side (6).

• Unfold, bring one end right sides together, stitch the end as shown (approx. 7.5 cm (3’’)) (7). Trim corner and turn right side out.

• Bring folded edges together and topstitch closed (8).

• Pin tie to the back waistband at side seam, aligned with the bottom of the waistband and stitch close to the edge (9).

FRONT• Pin front pieces (A) together at

crotch seam, matching notches, and stitch (10).

• Bring pleat marks right sides together and stitch the length of the line marked on the pattern (11).

• Press pleat towards center front and baste along the top edge to keep in place (12).

BELT LOOPS• Finish one edge with the serger or a zigzag stitch,

fold into thirds as shown (13) and topstitch (14). • Cut into two 7-cm (2 ¾’’) pieces (15).• Fold one end by 1 cm (⅜’’) to wrong side (16).• Pin at the pleat (toward center front) and stitch

along the top edge (17).• Topstitch the top same distance you have

between the tie and the top of the back waistband and 3 cm (1 ¼’’) from that fi rst topstitch (18), adjusting the fold at the end of the belt loop if needed.

• Ramener la ressource de couture vers la parementure et coudre près du bord en prenant la ressource de couture (sous-piquer) (22).

• Épingler le fond de poche sur la parementure et coudre tel qu’illustré (23).

• Replacer la poche sous le devant, le cran du fond poche aligné avec l’ouverture de la poche, épingler et joindre les bords vifs au point de bâti (24).

• Fermer le haut de la poche sur 2 cm (¾’’) en cousant près du bord (25).

FINITION• Épingler la parementure devant au devant

et coudre (26).• Ramener la ressource de couture vers la

parementure et sous-piquer (27). Vous pouvez fi nir le long bord vif à la surjeteuse si désiré.

• Avec la parementure relevé, épingler le dos au devant en faisant correspondre les crans et coudre les côtés (28).

• Ramener l’endroit de la parementure devant sur la ceinture dos (29) et coudre tel qu’illustré, à 1 cm (⅜’’) du bord.

• Épingler le devant au dos et coudre l’entrejambe (30).

• Piquer dans le creux de la couture milieu devant pour maintenir la parementure en place (31).

OURLET• Plier à la ligne préformée (5) et ramener

le bord vif sur son envers pour qu’il soit à l’intérieur du pli. Repasser et surpiquer près du bord supérieur (32-33).

• Tendre l’élastique pour que la ceinture dos soit à plat et surpiquer au centre de la ceinture, au long point droit, pour empêcher l’élastique de tourner dans la coulisse (34).

• With the facing up, pin back to front at side seams and stitch (28).

• Bring right side of facing over the back waistband (29) and stitch across the ends as shown, 1 cm (⅜’’) from edge, along seam line.

• Pin at inseam and stitch (30).• Stitch in the ditch at center front to

hold the facing in place (31).

HEM• Fold at pre-formed creases (5) fold raw edge to

wrong side so it is against the inside of the crease. Press and topstitch (32-33).

• Stretch back elastic so the back waistband is nice and fl at and topstitch along the center with a long straight stitch (34) to prevent the elastic from twisting.
