The children of the 80s are all grown up. A deep vein of 1982, 1983, 1985, and 1986 Bordeaux with a spectacular crescendo into Italy. Stored in pristine, climate-controlled, private custom storage and removed by Skinner staff.

1 Roederer Cristal 1983Reimsu: above foil7 bottles$1,800-2,400

2 Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1986Pauillac, 1er Cru Classeu: into neck, lightly case-worn capsules“The 1986 possesses outstanding richness, a deep color, medium body, a graceful, harmonious texture, and superb length. The penetrating fragrance of cedar, chestnuts, minerals, and rich fruit is a hallmark of this wine. Powerful, dense, rich, and tannic, as well as medium to full-bodied, with awesome extraction of fruit, this Lafite has immense potential. Patience is required. Anticipated maturity: 2000-2030.” R. Parker for TWA, 100 pts. 01/9812 bottles (owc)$8,000-10,000

3 Chateau Margaux 1982Margaux, 1er Cru Classeu: very top shoulder, signs of old seepage, nicked capsule“Consistently scoring between 98-100, the superb 1982 Margaux may be slightly bigger, bolder, and more masculine than vintages produced over the last 15-20 years. Its dark plum/purple color is followed by notes of melted tar intermixed with sweet cassis and floral underpinnings. Very full-bodied and dense for a Chateau Margaux, with a slight rusticity to the tannins, it boasts blockbuster power, richness, and impressive aromatics. It appears set for another 30-40 years of life.” R. Parker for TWA, 98 pts. 06/094 bottles$2,100-2,900

22 Chateau Lynch Bages 1986Pauillac, 5eme Cru Classeu: eight bottom neck, four very top shoulder, two with slight signs of old seepage“The 1986 is finally emerging from the dormant stage that many of the wines from this vintage (especially the Medocs) have been going through. It is a full-bodied, still backward wine that will appeal to classicists and old line traditionalists given its firm structure and austere tannins. Nevertheless, the color is a healthy deep garnet and the wine exhibits wonderful freshness along with notes of underbrush, damp earth, black currants, cedar and new saddle leather. Well-balanced with good depth, medium to full body, and a tannic (although not excessively so) finish, this may not be the most finesse-styled, elegant Lynch Bages ever produced, but it is an interesting Pauillac that will benefit from another 3-4 years of cellaring. While it may never hit the peaks achieved by great Lynch Bages vintages, it will be one of those rare wines that will last 40+ years.” R. Parker for TWA, 94 pts. 08/1112 bottles (owc)$1,400-1,800

23 Chateau Lynch Bages 1986Pauillac, 5eme Cru Classeu: seven bottom neck, three very top shoulder, two top shoulder, signs of old seepageR. Parker for TWA, 94 pts. 08/1112 bottles (owc)$1,400-1,800

37Giacomo Conterno Monfortino Barolo Riserva Speciale 1978Piedmontu: bottom neck or better, one lightly nicked capsule, one very slightly protruding cork, one lightly scuffed label“Judging from its dark impenetrable color, this is unmistakably Monfortino. The 1978 is without question on of the finest wines I have ever tasted and this bottle was spectacular. It is a deep, concentrated effort boasting a rich balsamic nose of spices and minerals along with layers of dark ripe fruit that gradually reveal themselves, supported by a structured frame of great length, with a final note of freshness that suggests that this wine has a long life ahead. While the 1978 Giacosa Riserva Bussia is delicate and ethereal, the 1978 Monfortino remains powerful and authoritative. I am reminded of the frequently asked question: ‘Should a great wine be intellectually stimulating or hedonistic?’ Monfortino is both, in equal measure. It is a wine that completely engages all of the senses, and needless to say, tasting the 1978 is always a real treat.” A. Galloni for TWA, 98 pts. 04/0712 bottles$18,000-22,000

Further cellar trimming from a long-time friend of Skinner. Removed from professional, climate-controlled storage by Skinner specialists.

48 Chateau Leoville Las Cases 1990St. Julien, 2eme Cru Classeu: bottom neck or better, five lightly bin-soiled labels, one label loose at edges with one folded corner and tears along opposite edge, mixed importers“As one might expect, this is a brilliant wine, but it remains shockingly young, even for the fast evolving 1990s. Its deep ruby/purple color is accompanied by a classic, nearly restrained set of aromatics that includes notions of sweet black cherries, black currants, lead pencil, and wet stones. In the mouth, it is full-bodied, and while technically low in acidity, there is a freshness, delineation, and classicism in this full-throttle, rich, concentrated, impeccable 1990. While still youthful, it is easy to appreciate despite its substantial tannins. It is not quite as backward as the 1990 Lafite Rothschild or 1990 Latour. Anticipated maturity: now-2035.” R. Parker for TWA, 96 pts. 06/096 bottles$1,100-1,500

49 Chateau Raymond Lafon 2001Sauternes, 1er Cru Classe“A tightly-knit but unctuous effort, Raymond-Lafon’s 2001 exhibits aromas of espresso roast intermixed with honeyed peaches, apricots, lychee nuts, and a hint of coconut. A full-throttle heavyweight, it will be at its finest between 2008-2025+.” R. Parker for TWA, 93 pts. 06/046 500ml bottles (owc)$400-600

50 Domaine Dujac Charmes Chambertin 1996Cote de Nuits3 bottles$750-1,000

51 Rene Engel Clos Vougeot 1990Cote de Nuitsu: 2.0cm, signs of old seepage, scuffed labelBurghound, 91 pts. 10/021 bottle$500-600

52 Rene Engel Grands Echezeaux 1990Cote de Nuitsu: 1.5cm, two with signs of old seepage, one nicked capsule, scuffed labels, one label folded at corner3 bottles$1,000-1,500

53 Domaine Hudelot-Noellat Clos de Vougeot 2012Cote de Nuits“A deft touch of oak sets off the earthy dark berry fruit aromas that display good lift and density. There is very good volume to the delicious and intense medium weight plus flavors that also possess relatively fine-grained tannins that add a relatively refined texture to the brooding and mildly austere yet hugely persistent finish. While the nose is not as fresh as the best in the range I suspect that in this case the aromas won’t turn prematurely secondary in character.” Burghound, 93 pts. 01/153 magnums (owc)$900-1,200

54 Leflaive Chevalier Montrachet 2006Cote de Beaune“This is notably more elegant, refined and complex with only a trace of exoticism to the mostly white flower and peach aromas that are followed by textured, pure, detailed and delineated flavors that are quite reserved and cool at present while culminating in a focused, crystalline, dry and driving finish. This does a slow build from the mid-palate before exploding onto the knockout finish. A Zen wine. Note that while I am giving a suggested initial drinking window of 2013, this will be capable of aging for years.” Burghound, 94 pts. 06/096 bottles (owc)$1,700-2,200

56Domaine de la Romanee Conti Echezeaux 1989Cote de Nuitsu: one 1.0cm, two 2.0cm, bottle numbers 17095, 17103, 171043 bottles$2,000-2,400

57 G. Roumier Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Cras 2010Cote de Nuits“An ultra-fresh, cool, airy and admirably pure nose features crystal clear and transparent red pinot fruit and essence of stone. This is a bit firmer than the Combottes with even more evident minerality on the delicious, focused and beautifully well-delineated flavors that terminate in a precise, long, linear and palate staining finish. Terrific and worth a special search to find though be aware that this youthfully austere effort will required extended cellaring.” Burghound, 93 pts. 01/136 bottles$1,200-1,800

58 Armand Rousseau Chambertin 2003Cote de Nuits“Somewhat curiously given the natural coolness of Chambertin, this seems noticeably riper than the ‘03 Clos de Bèze with notes of mocha, spice, earth and markedly ripe black currant aromas. There is excellent size, weight, concentration and power to the big-bodied and extract-rich flavors that coat the mouth before culminating in a lightly mineral-inflected, velvety and as the nose suggests, mocha-tinged finish. This is more 2003 in basic character than the Bèze though as is usually the case, it’s more structured as well though with 45 minutes in a decanter, this too could be drunk now with pleasure. That said, I would be inclined to give this at least 6 to 10 more years first though please be aware that this will be capable of holding for decades.” Burghound, 93 pts. 06/154 bottles$2,400-3,200

59 Armand Rousseau Chambertin Clos de Beze 1997Cote de Nuitsscuffed labels, one with slight signs of old seepage2 bottles$900-1,100

61Armand Rousseau Chambertin Clos de Beze 2003Cote de Nuitsone lightly corroded capsule, two with signs of old seepage“A ripe but not roasted and highly expressive nose features notes of dark raspberry, black cherry, spice and earth notes is complemented by spicy plum and a smoky perfume that is akin to musk. The rich, intense and full-bodied flavors are surprisingly supple compared to the average 2003 today yet there is a solid lashing of sap-buffered tannins on the powerful, lingering and impeccably well-balanced finish. Like the ‘03 Chambertin, this too should be capable of aging for a very long time though it is sufficiently accessible that it wouldn’t be a vinous crime to open bottles after only a few more years of cellar time.” Burghound, 94 pts. 06/154 bottles$2,000-2,800

62 Armand Rousseau Charmes Chambertin 1993Cote de Nuitsu: 1.0cm1 bottle$250-350

66 Comte Georges de Vogue Bonnes Mares 1989Cote de Nuitsu: 1.0cm, scuffed labels2 bottles$600-800

67 Comte Georges de Vogue Musigny Vieilles Vignes 1990Cote de Nuitsu: two 1.0cm, one 2.0cm, heavily scuffed labels3 bottles$1,200-1,500

68 Comte Georges de Vogue Musigny Vieilles Vignes 1993Cote de Nuitsu: 1.0cm or better, lightly nicked and lightly scuffed labels“Still relatively if no longer completely primary with a nose that is the crystalline essence of black cherry pinot sap and leads to massively structured and thick flavors with dense, ripe tannins that are completely buffered by all the extract. This is flat out great and still quite youthful though the initial signs of maturity are now evident. In my view, this is the best de Vogüé Musigny since at least ‘71 and is a monument in the making as it will live for 50 years without breathing hard. Multiple, and largely consistent, notes though a few bottles have seemed excessively hard on the dry finish. Still, the two most recent bottles were almost perfect with a silky mouth feel and well-integrated tannins.” Burghound, 97 pts. 12/113 bottles$1,700-2,000

69 Comte Georges de Vogue Musigny Vieilles Vignes 2002Cote de Nuits“Brilliant ruby. Expansive and very open on the nose with a fantastic array of spices, flowers and fruit aromas leading to very serious, exuberantly fresh and impressively deep flavors that also have a wonderfully tactile texture to them. But as it usually is, it’s not the raw power that impresses but rather the incredible combination of mind-boggling complexity coupled with perfect balance and this just dances across the palate yet stains it with notably ripe pinot extract. The finish is all silk and velvet but with a deeply buried, very firm and chewy backbone of tannins that lasts for minutes. This is greatness in the making. Tasted multiple times with consistent notes.” Burghound, 96 pts. 03/071 bottle$450-600

70 Valentini Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 2000Abruzzolightly scuffed labels3 bottles$700-1,000

71 Valentini Trebbiano d’Abruzzo 2007Abruzzo“The 2007 Trebbiano d’Abruzzo is stunning in this vintage. With age, Valentini’s Trebbiano often acquires distinctly Burgundian overtones, but in the 2007, those qualities are evident even at this early stage. White peaches, almonds and flowers all come to life in a textured, voluptuous, totally sexy wine loaded with class and personality. I can’t wait to see how the 2007 ages, but the truth is that this is the kind of wine that is likely to be extremely rewarding and just plain delicious throughout its entire life. The slight aromatic imperfections that sometimes are present in young Valentini Trebbiano are nowhere to be found. Simply put, this is a dazzling showing. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2022.” A. Galloni for TWA, 94 pts. 02/136 bottles$400-600

72 Zyme Harlequin 2006Veneto“The 2006 Harlequin is one of the most exciting, viscerally thrilling wines I have tasted in a while. Sweet aromas of roasted espresso beans lead to wild cherries, mint, licorice, blackberry jam and star anise as this opulent, full-throttle wine shows off its inimitable class and pedigree. Today the oak remains a touch intrusive, particularly in the tannins, but there appears to be more than enough density in the fruit to provide balance. The finish is eternal. This is a profound effort from Celestino Gaspari and his team. Harlequin is made from as many as fifteen different varieties. The grapes go through a brief drying process prior to being vinified. The wine is then racked into French oak, where it spends two full years with no subsequent rackings. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2026.” A. Galloni for TWA, 97 pts. 02/114 bottles (individual owcs)$700-1,000

76 Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 1999Reims“The 1999 Brut Blanc de Blancs Comtes de Champagne is beautiful. Understated at first, and also, surprisingly accessible, the 1999 Comtes de Champagne backs up its open, inviting personality with considerable muscle married to vibrant, pure fruit. The long, polished finish bursts with Chardonnay character. As is often the case, Comtes is at its best when it has been opened for at least 1-2 hours, or, even better, with a decade or more of bottle age. This is going to be a fascinating Comtes to follow in the coming years and decades. This is Lot L8283UI00600, disgorged August/September, 2008 (not indicated on label). Anticipated maturity: 2012-2039.” R. Parker for TWA, 95 pts. 12/105 bottles$450-650

78 Chateau Angelus 1990St. Emilionu: bottom neck or better“A blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc, this is clearly the greatest Angelus until the 2000, 2003 and then the perfect 2005. Beautiful, sweet plum, blackberry and blueberry fruit soar from the glass of this opaque, purple wine that still hasn’t lost much in color. 79 Chateau d’Yquem 1986Sauternesu: three bottom neck, one very top shoulder, signs of old seepage, one lightly corroded capsule, one nicked capsules“There is no other wine in the world like it, and there is no other luxury wine that can possibly justify its price as much as Yquem. The remarkable amount of painstaking labor necessary to produce the nectar known as Yquem is almost impossible to comprehend. This is a fascinating effort. With greater evidence of botrytis than the colossal 1983, but less power and alcohol, the 1986 Yquem tastes reminiscent of the 1975, only more precocious, as well as more concentrated. Several highly respected Bordeaux negociants who are Yquem enthusiasts claim the 1986 Yquem is the greatest wine produced at the property since the legendary 1937. Its enthralling bouquet of pineapples, sautéed hazelnuts, vanillin, and ripe apricots is breathtaking. Compellingly concentrated, the breadth as well as depth of flavor seemingly know no limits. This full-bodied, powerful, yet impeccably balanced Yquem should provide memorable drinking for 40-55 more years. Like the 1983, this is another winemaking tour de force. Anticipated maturity: 2000-2040.” R. Parker for TWA, 98 pts. 01/984 bottles$800-1,000

80 Chateau d’Yquem 1990Sauternesu: bottom neck, two bin-soiled labels“1990: An extraordinary effort, Yquem’s 1990 is a rich and fabulously superb, sweet wine. This wine also possesses lots of elegance and finesse. The wine’s medium gold color is accompanied by an exceptionally sweet nose of honeyed tropical fruits, peaches, coconut, and apricots. High quality, subtle toasty oak is well-integrated. The wine is massive on the palate, with layers of intensely ripe botrytis-tinged, exceptionally sweet fruit. Surprisingly well-integrated acidity, and a seamless, full-bodied power and richness have created a wine of remarkable harmony and purity. Certainly it is one of the richest Yquems I have ever tasted, with 50-100 years of potential longevity. An awesome Yquem! Anticipated maturity: 2003-2050+.” R. Parker for TWA, 04/999 bottles$2,000-2,500

81 Pegau Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee da Capo 2000Southern Rhone“The 2000 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee da Capo is a monument to old vine Grenache as well as traditionally made Chateauneuf du Pape. Boasting a natural alcohol of 16%, this wine, which was bottled in spring, 2003 because its fermentation was extremely slow, has virtually everything you could ever want in a profound Chateauneuf du Pape. The color is inky/ruby/purple to the rim. The extraordinary nose reveals aromas of kirsch liqueur, new saddle leather, animal fur, Provencal herbs, spice box, licorice, and a salty sea breeze character. On the palate, the wine is enormous, with an unctuosity, thickness, and purity that must be tasted to be believed. Over 95% of this offering is old vine Grenache, and the rest a field blend of ancient vines. Representing the essence of Chateauneuf du Pape, it possesses so much concentration that it is easy to pose the question ... “where’s the tannin?” Analytically, it has very high levels of tannin, but the tannin is barely noticeable given the wine’s exaggerated wealth of richness and power. This is a modern day legend in the making, and despite its precociousness and ease in smelling and consuming, it will not hit its prime for another decade. It should last for 25-30 years, and take its place among some of the greatest Chateauneuf du Papes ever made. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2030+.” R. Parker for TWA, 100 pts. 02/041 magnum$700-900

83 Quintarelli Alzero Cabernet Franc 1990Venetou: bottom neck, scuffed labels, one label unattached“I first learned of this wine a decade ago, and I purchased several bottles of the 1983, also a super wine. In fact, after tasting the super-concentrated, full-bodied, massively-endowed 1990, I pulled a bottle of the 1983 to see how it is aging. The amber-free color is followed by a glorious array of cedar, red and black fruits, spice, truffle, and exotic Far East spices. The wine is as young as I remember it at release, which bodes well for the 1990, an even more concentrated and impressive example. Perhaps the only way I can effectively articulate what this wine tastes like would be the following: imagine Cheval Blanc (1) picked at even higher sugars than it was in a great vintage like 1990 or 1982, (2) given more aging before release, and (3) bottled with no fining or filtration! The 1990 Alzero possesses a thick, viscous, purple color, an unctuous texture, fabulous purity, and gobs of black fruits intermingled with aromas of licorice, truffles, and roasted meats. Unbelievably rich, yet totally dry, this should prove to be one of the rarest, most provocative, and profound dry red wines to emerge from Italy. Although approachable enough to drink, it is still an infant in terms of its evolution. It will not hit full stride for another 10-15 years. As is the case with all these limited production wines, there are only several hundred cases available.” R. Parker for TWA, 96 pts. 08/9612 bottles$4,250-5,500

87 Dominio de Pingus Flor de Pingus 2009Ribera del Duero“The 2009 Flor de Pingus (3,000 cases) will ultimately spend 14 months in a mix of new and used French oak. It is opaque purple in color with a primary perfume of pain grille, mineral, spice box, incense, and blackberry. Locked and loaded with remarkable concentration and depth, this mouth-coating lengthy offering manages to incorporate some elegance into its powerful physique. It will drink well for 30-40 years.” J.S. Miller for TWA, (95-98) pts. 06/111 magnum$125-175

88 Abreu Capella 2010Napa“The 2010 Cappella, (75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Petit Verdot and Merlot) reveals a dense purple color, and even greater aromatic and flavor dimensions than the 2009. Notes of sweet creme de cassis, coffee bean, graphite, white chocolate and forest floor are followed by an intense, full-bodied, luxuriously textured wine that has plenty of tannin, but it is sweet and enrobed by sumptuous fruit and glycerin. This fabulous 2010 is one of the superstars of the vintage. It should continue to evolve for 25-30 years.” R. Parker for TWA, 98 pts. 10/131 bottle (pc)$200-300

90 Abreu Madrona Ranch 2010Napa“The 2010 Madrona Ranch, which David Abreu told me he crop-thinned by at least 50%, is a more backward, tannic, brooding wine at present. An inky/purple color and lots of baking spice, espresso, black and blue fruits, and hints of graphite and toast emerge from this wine as well as formidable tannins in the finish. However, the tannins are sweet and well-integrated in this big, blockbuster effort. It will require patience by purchasers as it needs to be forgotten for 4-5 years; it will drink well over the following three decades.” R. Parker for TWA, 98 pts. 10/131 bottle (pc)$275-350

97 Colgin IX Estate Syrah 2010Napa“The 2010 IX Estate Syrah is one of the most compelling Syrahs ever made in California. It ranks alongside some of the perfect Syrahs from Sine Qua Non in Santa Ynez and the Santa Rita Hills. Tasting like liquefied steak au poive with blackberry and blueberry sauce, this amazing wine reveals staggering aromas of flowers, bouquet garni, melted asphalt, licorice, pepper and meaty notes. It should drink well for 15+ years assuming you have that much patience.” R. Parker for TWA, 100 pts. 10/133 bottles (owc)$600-750

98 Colgin IX Estate Syrah 2012Napa“The wine that probably gets ignored, but shouldn’t be, is their small production of 350-400 cases of Syrah from their estate vineyard. The 2012 IX Syrah Estate blew me away, and I’ve said many times that it always tastes as if it’s co-fermented with Viognier, but it is always 100% Syrah. It has a honeysuckle, flowery, almost white/peachy component in the blackberry and meaty aromatics that always throw me off. The wine is aged in small oak, but the oak is concealed by the lavish amount of fruit, glycerin and extract. This is a super-intense, massive, yet elegant and complex Syrah that should drink well for 10-15 years.” R. Parker for TWA, 98 pts. 10/153 bottles (owc)$600-750

The wine reveals superb concentration and richness as well as a structured mouthfeel. It begs for 4-5 years of cellaring and should drink well for 20-30+ years.” R. This blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot and 14% Cabernet Franc is one of the finest wines I tasted over the 12 days I spent tasting in Napa Valley in late August and early September. 110 Harlan Estate Proprietary Red 1994Napau: bottom neck, one front label unaffixed, one missing front label, vintage confirmed on back labels and cork branding“What can I say about the 1994? I have tasted the wine for three consecutive years, and each time it satisfied all of my requirements for perfection. The opaque purple color is followed by spectacular aromatics that soar from the glass, offering up celestial levels of black currants, minerals, smoked herbs, cedar wood, coffee, and pain grille. In the mouth, this seamless legend reveals full body, and exquisite layers of phenomenally pure and rich fruit, followed by a 40+ second finish. While accessible, the 1994 begs for another 5-7 years of cellaring. It should easily last for 30+ years. Every possible jagged edge - acidity, alcohol, tannin, and wood - is brilliantly intertwined in what seems like a diaphanous format. What is so extraordinary about this large-scaled wine, with its dazzling display of aromatics and prodigious flavors and depth, is that it offers no hint of heaviness or coarseness. Harlan’s 1994 comes close to immortality in the glass.” R. Parker for TWA, 100 pts. 12/973 bottles$1,800-2,400

This is an amazingly deep, rich, blueberry, blackberry and mulberry scented and flavored wine with skyscraper-like texture, remarkable intensity, again great, great purity, and the new oak completely concealed by the lavish and extravagant amounts of fruit. One hundred percent Cabernet Sauvignon, as are all these wines, the Ark Vineyard is certainly another blockbuster wine with no hard edges that comes across like a flawlessly constructed dress from an haute couture house in Paris. 114 Hundred Acre Few and Far Between 2012Napa“[Jayson] Woodbridge’s vineyard tucked away near the famous Eisele Vineyard, now owned by Château Latour, produces the wine known as the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Few and Far Between Vineyard. This is another luxurious, exceptionally concentrated and loaded wine with great intensity, a multi-dimensional mouthfeel, unbelievable amounts of blackberry, cassis and blueberry fruit, crushed rock minerality, and a floral note. It is easily the most backward of the five Cabernet Sauvignons I tasted from Woodbridge in 2012. The wine is super-intense, displays plenty of tannin, but is silky and well-integrated. This wine needs at least 4-5 years of cellaring, and should keep for 30-50 years, as it promises to be one of the modern-day legends from Napa.” R. Its opaque purple color is accompanied by gorgeously complex aromas of melted chocolate, espresso roast, blackberries, and cassis. Full-bodied with a superb texture, a subtle note of oak, and fabulous concentration, it is more reminiscent of a Right Bank Bordeaux than one expects with this much Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend. Dense, masculine, rich and full, this 2009 is built for the long-term, although for a 2009, the tannins are remarkably well-integrated, giving the wine definition and structure. 126Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon 2008Napa“The estate’s 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon bursts from the glass with considerable richness and pure depth. The spring frosts lowered yields noticeably resulting in a wine that is a bit darker and heavier than is the norm. The rest of the vintage was on the warmer side, which gave the wine much of its ripeness and body. Mocha, espresso, licorice and sweet spices all wrap around the palate. Next to the other wines in this tasting, the 2008 is a bit burly. The mind-bending finesse of the best vintages is missing. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2028.” A. It exhibits sweet berry fruit intermixed with spice box, herbs, and spring flowers. Expansive, round, and sensual, with wonderful purity as well as lushness, this irresistible wine can be enjoyed over the next 6-10 years.” R. Parker for TWA, 94 pts. 06/095 bottles$600-900

166 Chateau Pichon Longueville Lalande 1982Pauillac, 2eme Cru Classeu: bottom neck, one very lightly corroded capsule, one worn capsule, lightly bin-soiled labels“One of the monumental wines of the last century is the 1982 Pichon Lalande. Since bottling, it has flirted with perfection, and was a sprinter out of the gate, which gave rise to questions about how quickly it would begin its decline. However, at age 27, it retains all its glossy, rich, flamboyant cassis fruit, chocolaty, berry jam-like notes, and plenty of earthy, foresty flavors. This is a full-bodied, extravagantly rich Pichon Lalande seemingly devoid of acidity and tannin, but the wine is incredibly well-balanced and pure. It is an amazing effort!” R. 170 Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste 1990Pauillac, 5eme Cru Classeu: into neck, one damp-stained label“Along with the 1982, 2000, and 2005, the 1990 is one of those monumental Grand Puy Lacostes that you can’t have enough of. Still inky/blue/purple-colored to the rim, it boasts a gorgeously sweet, pure nose of creme de cassis, spring flowers, and a hint of wet rocks. The wine is full-bodied, plush, and expansive with impressive levels of glycerin and purity as well as an endearing texture. This 1990 is evolving at a glacial pace, but the sweetness of the tannins and low acidity ensure a delicious treat whenever a bottle is opened. It should evolve for another 20-25 years.” R. 172 Chateau Le Gay 1982Pomerolu: one bottom neck, two very top shoulder, two lightly corroded capsules, slight signs of old seepage, lightly bin-soiled labels“Made by the same team that produced the perfect 1982 Lafleur, this wine had been forgotten in my cellar. While it’s clear that the new owner, Catherine Pere-Verge, has made some amazing wines since 2005 (especially the 2008), the 1982 is a wine for the ages. Still an inky/purple color, it boasts an extraordinary perfume of spring flowers intermixed with black raspberries, truffles, and kirsch. Full-bodied with velvety tannins, the wine remains extremely young, but the sweetness of the tannins and the sensational fruit concentration make for a remarkable wine that should evolve for another 30+ years.” R. Parker for TWA, 97+ pts. 06/093 bottles$500-700

173 Chateau d’Yquem 1988Sauternes, 1er Cru Superioreu: bottom neck or better“The 1988 d’Yquem has an incredibly profound nose of orange marmalade, dried apricots, honeycomb, musk and dried pineapple with hints of marzipan and crystallized ginger. The palate is seamless with a great line of crisp acid cutting through the densely packed dried tropical fruit and honeyed flavour layers. The finish just goes on and on.” L. A concentrated, backward effort, its youthful, classically ungenerous, masculine character reveals black pepper laced dark fruits. Silky-textured in its immensely endowed mid-palate, this top-flight effort displays an admirably long, tannin-filled finish. It will require serious cellaring. Projected maturity: 2030-2050.” P. 187 Chateau Haut Brion 1982Pessac Leognan, 1er Cru Classeu: 2.5cm, lightly nicked label“I know Jean Delmas, whom I respect as one of the world’s greatest wine producers, has always thought the 1982 Haut Brion was similar to the 1959, but I have yet to see that. It seems to me the 1989 is closer to the 1959, another perfect wine and one of the all-time great Haut Brions. While the 1982 is a beauty, it has never hit the highest notes this vintage or terroir can achieve. Complex aromatics of scorched earth, smoked herbs, and sweet red and black currants are followed by a full-bodied, silky-textured wine, but I have never felt this offering has possessed the concentration, texture, or multidimensional personality found in such vintages as 1989, 1990, and more recent years. Nevertheless, this is essentially splitting hairs as the 1982 remains a superb Haut Brion. Seemingly less evolved than the 1990, it is capable of another 20-30 years of longevity. Perhaps there is something in reserve that will reveal itself in the next decade. Drink now-2035.” R. Parker for TWA, 95 pts. 06/091 bottle$500-700

188 Chateau Mouton Rothschild 1982Pauillac, 1er Cru Classeu: very top shoulder, lightly bin-soiled label, lightly torn label“This wine remains one of the legends of Bordeaux. It has thrown off the backward, youthful style that existed during its first 25 years of life, and over the last 4-5 years has developed such secondary nuances as cedar and spice box. The creme de cassis, underlying floral note, full-bodied power, extraordinary purity, multilayered texture, and finish of over a minute are a showcase for what this Chateau accomplished in 1982. The wine is still amazingly youthful, vibrant, and pure. It appears capable of remaining fruity and vibrant in 2082! Thank God it is beginning to budge, as I would like to drink most of my supply before I kick the bucket. This is a great, still youthful wine, and, on occasion, one does understand the hierarchy of Bordeaux chateaux when you see the complexity and brilliance of this first-growth. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2050+.” R. Parker for TWA, 100 pts. 06/091 bottle$900-1,100

189 Chateau Petrus 1982Pomerol, Cru Exceptionnelu: bottom neck, lightly nicked label, lightly stained label1 bottle$2,200-2,600

Going once, going twice, going three times… Cased, First Growth Bordeaux that speaks for itself.

190 Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1998Pauillac“A blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon and 19% Merlot, this wine represents only 34% of Lafite’s total harvest. In a less than perfect Medoc vintage, it has been spectacular since birth, putting on more weight and flesh over the last year. This opaque purple-colored 1998 is close to perfection. The spectacular nose of lead pencil, smoky, mineral, and black currant fruit soars majestically from the glass. The wine is elegant yet profoundly rich, revealing the essence of Lafite’s character. The tannin is sweet, and the wine is spectacularly layered yet never heavy. The finish is sweet, super-rich, yet impeccably balanced and long (50+ seconds). Anticipated maturity: 2007-2035.” R. Parker for TWA, 98 pts. 04/0112 bottles (owc)$6,000-7,000

191 Chateau Latour 1996Pauillac“Deep garnet-black in color, the 1996 is classic Latour at its utmost. The nose offers a tantalizing array of complex notes including dried Chinese plums, toasted nuts, Indian spices and black olive tapenade over a core of dried cherries and aged meat. The palate is pure power that is stunningly balanced giving a generous level of fruit concentration perfectly offset by a high level of very finely grained tannins and seamless freshness. Possessing a finish that just goes on and on, this is as good as it gets.” L. Perrotti-Brown for TWA, 100 pts. 11/1212 bottles (owc)$6,000-7,500

192 Chateau Margaux 2005Margaux“The first-growth 2005 Château Margaux (85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot), a lavish fragrance of blackcurrants, velvety new saddle leather, spring flowers and spice soars from the glass. The wood is already totally concealed beneath the cascade of fruit in this medium to full-bodied, pure and majestic wine. This concentrated, dense, but nevertheless strikingly elegant, multi-layered wine has a finish of 45+ seconds. It builds incrementally to a crescendo and finale. This is a stunner that can be approached already, but promises to be better in another 5-10 years and last at least 25 or more years.” R. Parker for TWA, 98+ pts. 06/1512 bottles (owc)$7,000-8,500

195 Chateau Haut Brion 2005Pessac Leognan, 1er Cru Classe“The mineral-laced 2005 Haut Brion (56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc) is exquisite. With its elegance and finesse, it is not as powerful as La Mission, but the nobility and complexity of the aromatics, incredible fragrance (subtle smoke and blue, red, and black fruits) that persists in the glass, full-bodied mouthfeel (though very light and delicate on its feet), and incredible length characterize this great Haut-Brion. It is just starting to drink well, and should continue to do so for at least another three decades. It is a tour de force in winemaking, but only 9,000 cases were produced.” R. Parker for TWA, 100 pts. 06/1510 bottles (six in owc)$5,000-6,000

196 Chateau Lafite Rothschild 2000Pauillac, 1er Cru Classe“Since I gave this wine a perfect score, I suppose some could see this as a downgrade. I found everything still there for a perfect rating, but I was just struck by how tight and backward the wine was. A blend of 93.3% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot, the wine still has a dark ruby/purple color and an extraordinarily youthful nose of graphite, black currants, sweet, unsmoked cigar tobacco, and flowers. The wine is rich, medium to full-bodied, but has that ethereal elegance and purity that is always Lafite. I originally predicted that it would first reach maturity in 2011, but I would push that back by 5-7 years now, although it has 50-60 years of life in front of it. Owners of this beauty are probably best advised to forget it for 5 years. Tasted next to a 1996 several days after the 2000 tasting, the 1996, which is a perfect wine, was far closer to full maturity than the 2000.” R. Parker for TWA, 98+ pts. 06/101 bottle$900-1,100

A blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon and the balance Merlot and Cabernet Franc (only 37% of the crop qualified for Las Cases), this dense ruby/purple wine has a stunningly pure bouquet of dark fruit, wet rocks, graphite, and subtle background toast/vanillin. Full-bodied, masculine, and very deep and concentrated, this titanic effort is at least 8-10 years away from its plateau of maturity. The Delon family have produced another legend. 243 Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon 2012Napa“The perfect 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Screaming Eagle is composed of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc. Made in the classic, iconic Screaming Eagle style that the original proprietress, Jean Philipps, first showcased in the early 1990s, before the winery was sold to Stan Kroenke, the inky/purple-colored, seamless 2012 possesses an extraordinary set of aromatics consisting of pure blackcurrant liqueur, licorice, acacia flowers, graphite and a subtle hint of new oak. Full-bodied, opulent and voluptuous, this profound wine is as prodigious as I thought it would be last year when tasted from barrel. It should age effortlessly for 20 or more years.” R. 244 Shafer Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select 2000Napa“The 2000 Shafer Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select is another beautiful vintage from a challenging year. The brilliant winemaking and great terroir of the Hillside Select overcame the vintage deficiencies. A touch of herbaceousness is a rarity in a Hillside Select Cabernet Sauvignon, but one can taste it in the 2000. It adds complexity as opposed to any distraction. Somewhat similar in style to the 1993, with a certain austerity, but deep, tarry red and black currant fruit and plush medium to full-bodied texture, this wine seems to have reached full maturity, where is should be drunk up over the next 5-10 years.” R. 253 Chateau Angelus 2003St. Emilion“I had this wine from my cellar, as well as at a tasting in Zurich in February of 2015. It is one of the handful of 2003s I bought from the Right Bank of Bordeaux in this vintage. Angelus really nailed the vintage, and has produced a fully mature wine that’s truly strutting its stuff. Dense, bluish/purple, it offers gorgeous notes of espresso roast, blackberry and blueberry liqueur, acacia flowers and a touch of chocolate. It is full-bodied, opulent and seems close to full maturity, as it is evolving quickly. The wine is full-bodied, rich and should be drunk over the next decade.” R. 255 Chateau Angelus 2005St. Emilion“Truly great stuff, this wine performed at a three-digit level both in the horizontal tasting of 2005s in Baltimore, as well as in Montreal at this mini-vertical. This sensational, opaque, bluish/purple wine offers up notes of vanillin, spring flowers, blueberry and blackberry liqueur, plus a touch of licorice. The wine hits the palate with a thunderous cascade of ripe, rich, concentrated fruit. It is full-bodied, multidimensional and layered. The tannins are beautifully integrated but still present, and the wood, acidity, alcohol, etc., are all beautifully assimilated in this magnificent, majestic vintage of Angelus. It can be drunk now, but it is still an adolescent and that suggests it has at least another 25-35 years of longevity.” R. Parker for TWA, 100 pts. 08/1512 bottles (owc)$3,000-4,000

263 Giacomo Conterno Barolo Riserva Monfortino 1996Piedmont“1996 G. Conterno Barolo Riserva Monfortino—Dark red. The 1996 Monfortino opens with a breathtaking nose that is to die for. Expressive aromas of leather, spices, cocoa, and roses gradually emerge from the glass. On the palate the wine displays masses of concentrated fruit that coat the palate with extraordinary length and expansiveness and with a purity of expression that keeps me coming back to wine time and again. Although it remains quite youthful and somewhat dominated by its structure, I am encouraged by its development. Perhaps we won’t have to wait decades to enjoy this wine at its prime. That said, my earlier drinking window (after 2006) appears to have been overly optimistic. This was a great showing by one of Barolo’s legendary wines from a legendary vintage.” A. 264 Giacomo Conterno Barolo Riserva Monfortino 1999Piedmont“The 1999 Barolo Riserva Monfortino takes things to another level, hard as that may be to believe. It is deeply expressive in its aromatics, with breathtaking nuances of roses, menthol, spices and licorice that emerge from the glass, melding seamlessly onto the palate where complex layers of dark ripe fruit captivate the taster in an endless counterpoint of aromas, flavors and sensations that are hard to fully capture with mere words. Boasting much intensity and a more full-bodied structure than the 1998, with building tannins that define the eternal finish, it is wine to taste now and over the next 6-9 months before it begins to shut down. Sampled from both bottle and magnum, it is a remarkable wine in every way, and is sure to take a place among the great Monfortinos of all time. Those fortunate enough to own Monfortinos from the recent string of vintages dating back to 1995 as well as the equally promising 2000 and 2001 will no doubt enjoy debating the merits of these remarkable wines for years and decades to come. The 1999 Monfortino remains one of the greatest young wines I have ever tasted.” A. Galloni for TWA, 98 pts. 10/061 bottle$400-600

This is another Barolo that is simply delicious today, although readers seeking a more developed, tertiary experience may want to give the wine a few more years in bottle. Layers of dark fruit, sweet spices, menthol and crushed rocks saturate the palate as this powerful, brooding wine shows off its pedigree. This intense Barolo makes a compelling case for the glories of the 1996 harvest. Flowers, minerals and a host of other dark, balsamic aromas and flavors add complexity on the brooding, dense finish. This is a phenomenal wine from Vietti.” A. Galloni for TWA, 96 pts. 09/111 bottle$175-250

300 Chateau Palmer 1983Margaux, 3eme Cru Classeu: one very top shoulder, one top shoulder, one nicked capsule, one very lightly corroded capsule“This wine goes from strength to strength, and is certainly a candidate for “wine of the vintage.” It has surpassed even Chateau Margaux in recent tastings. The color is an opaque plum/purple. The wine has a fabulously complex nose of smoked duck, white flowers, cedar, Asian spice, creme de cassis, melted licorice, and espresso. Super-concentrated, very powerful, full-bodied, and huge, this is undeniably, one of the biggest, most concentrated, and powerful Palmers made in the last 40 years. The wines has thrown off the rugged tannins that were so prominent during its first 10-15 years of life and has become increasingly seamless and compelling. Potentially this wine remains the most extraordinary Palmer after the 1961. Anticipated maturity: Now–2020.” R. Parker for TWA, 98 pts. 01/032 bottles$650-800

301 Chateau Troplong Mondot 1989St. Emilionu: into neck“A very youthful wine that probably will never hit the heights of the 1990 (but how many wines do?), this dense ruby/purple-colored wine has a very pure nose of roasted espresso, black cherry jam, blackberry, mineral, and even a hint of blueberry. Some smoke and high-quality toasty new oak are there, but now that seems to be fading into the background. Quite full-bodied, powerful, and concentrated, yet at the same time elegant, this wine still seems very young and unevolved. Anticipated maturity: 2007–2025.” R. 305 Chateau Mouton Rothschild 2000Pauillac, 1er Cru Classe“Perhaps the most beautiful packaging ever on a Bordeaux bottle, Baroness Philippine de Rothschild literally produced a work of art in the gold-engraved bottle of 2000 Mouton Rothschild. Of course, one can’t drink the glass, but this is a top-flight Mouton Rothschild, eclipsed only by the 2006 and 2009. A rich, tannic, earthy style, with loads of creme de cassis and floral notes, the final blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Merlot is a full-bodied wine with plenty of coffee, earth, chocolatey notes, and still plenty of tannin to resolve. I gave it an anticipated maturity range of 2015-2050 back in 2003, and that looks on target.” R. Parker for TWA, 96+ pts. 06/101 bottle$1,000-1,200

380George Washington Single Malt Whisky 2012VirginiaGeorge Washington’s Distillery, Mount Vernon, VA, limited edition, bottled 2015, bottle #1/30, “Inspired by the strong Scottish Influence on George Washington’s whiskey-making enterprise, and by the wide-spread interest in the modern reconstruction of his distillery, The Glenmorangie Co. suggested a vision for a new and symbolic spirit-making collaboration. By the spring of 2012, the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States; the Scotch Whisky Association, then celebrating its 100th anniversary; and George Washington’s Mount Vernon united to make this idea a reality. The result is a one of a kind, single malt that celebrates the Scottish heritage of the American distilling industry...the Mount Vernon team worked closely with master distillers from Cardhu Single Malt Distillery, The Glenmorangie Co., and Laphroaig Distillery...10 gallons, bottled as a Limited Edition, was distilled twice resulting in some of the highest proofs ever achieved in the reconstructed distillery. Aged at Mount Vernon for more than 2 years in used Bourbon casks re-coopered in Speyside...this unique single malt spent its final months in Madeira wine barrels, a favorite at Washington’s table.,” bottle signed by Master Distillers: Bill Lumsden (The Glenmorangie Co.), Andy Cant (Cardhu), John Campbell (Laphroaig), Dave Pickerell (Oak View Consulting), 40%1 750ml bottle (pc)$4,000-5,000

Ullage of wines of vintages fifteen years and younger may be assumed to be of bottom neck or better unless otherwise noted. Similarly, regarding older vintages, lack of notation indicates acceptable and appropriate ullage, clear label and sound cork; potential bidders must be prepared for reasonable variations in ullage in all vintages older than 20 years. Bidders with specific condition questions should contact the Fine Wines department. Conditions generally not noted on group lots.

Bordeaux wines are cataloged referencing the 1855 classification. Chateau Petrus cataloging reflects the practice of granting it 1er Cru Classe and other notable Pomerol Chateaux are designated Cru Classe. All Bordeaux wines may assume to be chateau bottled unless otherwise stated.

It is standard practice for Skinner/Lower Falls Wine to open all original wooden cases (owc) for visual inspection. The opening of banded cases will be determined on an individual basis.

For Burgundy, German wines and all other more gradually slope-shouldered bottles, the ullage measurement is taken in centimeters from cork base, e.g. 3cm, 5cm, 7cm.

Bottle Sizes

bottle (750 ml) jeroboam (4xbt); Burgundy, Champagne demi bottle (demi)magnum (2xbt) jeroboam (6xbt); Bordeaux split (1/4 bottle) Champagne marie jeanne (3xbt) imperiale (8xbt); Bordeaux double magnum (4xbt) methuselah (8xbt); Burgundy

Buyers’ Caution: Levels are as when cataloged; ullage may change due to cork deterioration; other bottle conditions may occur during storage and shipment. Risk of ullage variation and cork deterioration and/or failure is assumed by the buyer at time of sale and no sale cancellations, price negotiations, or bottle substitutions will be undertaken by either Skinner or Lower Falls Wine. Similarly, no substitutions will be made due to inaccurate descriptions.

Flights of Lots: Are of the same type, vintage and bottle count and follow one after another numerically, though ullage and bottle conditions may vary. The auctioneer may exercise discretion to offer, in consecutive lot order and at that same price, the following lots in the flight to the first successful bidder of that flight. Subsequently, those lots not purchased will be offered anew and so on. Absentee bids placed on any lot in a flight will be applied to the next lot in the flight (if unsuccessful), until the flight concludes.

Environmental Note: It has only been in the last 15-20 years that the wine industry has moved away from using lead capsules to cover the cork and neck of a bottle. When opening an older wine, if you do have a lead capsule, give consideration as to how you dispose of it.

2. Some of the lots in this sale are offered subject to a reserve. The reserve is a confidential minimum price agreed upon by the consignor and Skinner, Inc., below which the lot will not be sold. In most cases, the reserve will be set below the estimated range, but in no case will it exceed the estimates listed. A representative of Skinner, Inc. will execute such reserves by bidding for the consignor. In any event, and whether or not a lot is subject to a reserve, Skinner, Inc. and Lower Falls Wine Co. may reject any bid or raise not commensurate with the value of such lot.

3. All property is sold “as is,” and neither Skinner, Inc. and Lower Falls Wine Co. nor any consignor makes any warranties or representation or any kind or nature with respect to the property, and in no event shall they be responsible for the correctness, nor deemed to have made any representation or warranty, or description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, source, origin, or condition of the property and no statement made at the sale, or in the bill of sale, or invoice, or in the catalog, or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty of representation or an assumption of liability. Prospective buyers are urged to inspect those lots they have interest in.

In the case of a disputed bid, the auctioneer shall have sole discretion in determining the purchaser and may also, at his or her election, withdraw the lot or reoffer the lot for sale. The auctioneer shall have sole discretion to refuse any bid, or refuse to acknowledge any bidder. Please note Massachusetts state law requires all purchasers of alcoholic beverages be at least 21 years of age. Lower Falls Wine Co. may impose, and the purchaser agrees to pay, a monthly storage fee per lot as determined by Lower Falls Wine Co. (see Collection of Wines). If any property has not been removed within forty-five (45) days from the date of sale, at the option of Skinner, Inc. and Lower Falls Wine Co. (a) the merchandise may be transferred to and stored at a bonded warehouse and the purchaser agrees to pay all transfer and storage expenses, and/or (b) Skinner Inc. and Lower Falls Wine Co. may place the merchandise in a subsequent auction, without Reserve, to be sold to the highest bidder, and after deducting the standard commission and any additional charges that may apply, remit the proceeds to the purchaser.

6. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, good check, or wire transfers, payable in U.S. dollars. Checks will be acceptable only if credit has been established with Skinner or if a bank authorization has been received guaranteeing the check. Skinner, Inc. and Lower Falls Wine Co. reserve the right to hold merchandise purchased until the funds have cleared the bank. The purchaser agrees to pay Skinner and/or Lower Falls Wine Co. a handling charge of $25.00 for any check dishonored by the drawee.

7. If the purchaser breaches any of its obligations under these Conditions of Sale, including its obligation to pay in full the purchase price of all items for which it was the highest successful bidder, Skinner Inc. and Lower Falls Wine Co. may exercise all of its rights and remedies under the law including, without limitation, (a) canceling the sale and applying any payments made by the purchaser to the damages caused by the purchaser’s breach, and/or (b) offering at public auction, without reserve, any lot or item for which the purchaser has breached any of its obligations, including its obligation to pay in full the purchase price, holding the purchaser liable for any deficiency plus all costs of sale.

8. In no event will the liability of Skinner, Inc. and Lower Falls Wine Co. to any purchaser with respect to any item exceed the purchase price actually paid by such purchaser for such item.

9. Lower Falls Wine Co. may, in their discretion and at purchaser’s request, package and arrange for delivery as directed by the purchaser. In such event, purchaser agrees that (a) all such packaging, handling and delivery is at the sole risk of the purchaser and that Skinner, Inc. and Lower Falls Wine Co. shall have no liability for any loss or damage to such items, and (b) purchaser shall pay in advance, all packaging expenses, including labor, materials, carriers fees and all insurance charges. Neither Skinner, Inc. nor Lower Falls Wine Co. shall be responsible for obtaining any permits or licenses on behalf of purchaser and no sale shall be cancelled or refunded for lack of purchaser’s noncompliance with permitting and licensing issues. (Please see Collection of Wines)

10. A premium equal to 23% of the final bid price up to and including $100,000, plus 20% of the final bid price from $100,001 up to and including $1,000,000, plus 12% of the final bid price from $1,000,001 and over will be applied to each lot sold, to be paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price.

11. Bidding on any item indicates your acceptance of these terms and all other terms printed within, posted, and announced at the time of sale whether bidding in person, through a representative, by phone, by Internet, or other absentee bid.

12. Skinner, Inc. and its consignors make no warranty or representation, express or implied, that the purchaser will acquire any copyright or reproduction rights to any lot sold. Skinner, Inc. expressly reserves the right to reproduce any image of the lots sold in this catalog. The copyright in all images, illustrations and written material produced by or for Skinner, Inc. relating to a lot, including the contents of this catalog, is, and shall remain at all times, the property of Skinner, Inc. and shall not be used by the purchaser, nor by anyone else, without our prior written consent.

13. These conditions of sale shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (excluding the laws applicable to conflicts or choice of law). The buyer/bidder agrees that any suit for the enforcement of this agreement may be brought, and any action against Skinner in connection with the transactions contemplated by this agreement shall be brought, in the courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or any federal court sitting therein. The bidder/buyer consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts and waives objections that it may now or hereafter have to the venue of any such suit.
