The construction materials and methods used for Keyline and Encore cabinetry are the same high quality methods we use in our full custom lines, Crystal and Quest. Crystal is a leader over other cabinet manufacturers in our persistent use of American-made materials in all our product lines.

The wood, finish and door style selections in Keyline and Encore are a collection of Crystal’s top sellers, allowing you to design distinct cabinetry with custom features you desire, but still stay within your budget. Whether it’s a historic look of painted inset cabinetry or sleek, Euro-modern styles, you can achieve it with Keyline and Encore.

We offer three types of painted finishes for your cabinetry:

• For a solid painted finish, choose MDF or paint grade material for your substrate. • For a painted finish showing some wood grain and wood color, choose Portrait– available on alder, maple or red oak. You can also add highlights, glazing or distressing elements. • Or, choose Keepsake Portrait– a finish which includes wearing, distressing, cracking, worm holing, Van Dyke Brown Highlight and spatting.

Keyline and Encore’s finishes are durable and beautiful and are a benchmark fea-ture of our fine cabinetry. Using artistic, hand-applied techniques and state of the art technology, we have perfected our finishes to be the finest in the industry.

Choose from a premium selection of beautiful woods that complement the high quality craftsmanship of your Keyline and Encore cabinetry. Like all of our construc-tion materials only the finest raw wood is purchased after passing strict quality inspections.

Stains & Paints

Stain and paint colors shown will not be an exact color match. Please see an actual physical sample of the finish you are considering.

Stains are available in two sheen levels: standard and flat. Most paints are available in semi-gloss or matte.

Signature FinishesIn addition to our standard paints and stains, we offer sev-

eral Signature Finish choices letting you achieve antiqued

and distressed styles for your cabinetry. Shown is just a

sampling of the possible combinations available.

Highlight is hand-wiped, leaving some build-up in the bead and profiles. Highlight will change the overall stain and paint color of your finish and will accentu-ate natural wood characteristics as well as physical elements. Highlight is available in six colors: Black, Butterscotch, Pewter, Port, Van Dyke Brown and White. Avail-able on paint or stain on all wood species.

• All parts are sanded.• Then stained. • Then hand-wiped to bring out the wood’s natural beauty.• Sealer coat is applied.• Parts are lightly sanded for optimal smoothness. • The surface is cleaned.• A catalytic conversion varnish topcoat is applied for final finish.

Combination of sealer and conversion topcoat achieves the ultimate in appearance, durability and long-lasting beauty.

Durable Multi-Step Finish:

PhYSICalElEmEntSFor authentic, aged-looking cabinetry, choose from five hand-applied distressing elements. Physical elements are available as a’ la carte so you can choose one element or all of them. Since the elements are hand-applied, they will appear randomly throughout the cabinetry.

Glazing is also hand-wiped, but is thicker than Highlight and will create a heavier buildup in profiles de-pending on your door style choice. Available on paint or stain on all wood species.

KEYLINE INSET Keyline Inset cabinetry offers affordable, authentic, handcrafted furniture styling. You can choose beaded or non-beaded frames to cre-ate your own custom look. Select from a multitude of door styles featuring details like– bead board, v-grooves,

flat or raised panels, and square or rounded profiles to inspire your unique Inset cabinet design.

Keyline painted Inset cabinetry gives you the ultimate, inexpensive option to replicate pe-riod style cabinetry and finishes usually only available in high end custom lines.

Ridgeway door style with Portrait Sandstone paint on maple and the island is Signature Black-stone with Black Highlight on Lyptus.

Fine cabinetry for your bathroom can be easily realized with Keyline and Encore. Vanity and tall storage cabinets are available in numerous configurations for maximum customizing to design the bathroom of your dreams.
