“ A study on investment in mutual fund”
Chapter-5
FINDINGS , SUGGESTION and CONCLUSION
CONCLUSION
Our exhaustive research in the field of investment in mutual fund threw up
some interesting trends which can be seen in the above analysis. A general
impression that I gathered during Data collection was the immense awareness
and knowledge among people about various companies and their types of
mutual fund.. People are beginning to look beyond UTI public sector company
for their investments return needs and are willing to trust somewhat less in
private sectors, with their hard earned money. People in general have been
impression by the marketing and advertising campaigns of mutual fund
investment companies. A high penetration of print , radio and Television ad
campaigns over the years is beginning to have it’s impact now. The general
satisfaction levels among public with regards to mutual fund policy and agents
still requires improvement. But therein lays the opportunity for a relative new
comer like JM mutual fund and others have never been known for prompt
service or customer oriented methods and Reliance can build on these factors.
All though relatively new entrants in the market, HDFC,Reliance is slowly but
surely gaining a strong hold because it is finally able to grasp the investment
climate in Mangalore. Secondly the branch managers at all the branches are
very knowledgeable with a lot of experience in the financial markets so under
their leadership can definitely expand its base.
