FINDING OUR VILLAGE VOICE Through Art, Wicked Question finding, Conversation and Action FINDING OUR VILLAGE VOICE Community Potluck will be led by artist and facilitators Ju-Pong Lin (Providence, RI) and Teresa Konechne (Minneapolis), along with host/facilitator Katie Boone (Mankato). Wicked Questions (WQ) is a creative intervention around climate change, and is the beginnings of a global movement to weave together our stories, questions and actions. Ju-Pong and Teresa are co-collaborators on WQ. They will help us unearth both our personal and collective stories around climate change and bring our energy, passion and questions into an afternoon of collective creativity through song, poetry and visual art. This is one of the first “WQ Feasts” to happen and will be a model for other communities around the world. Teresa Konechne is a fiscal year 2014 recipient of an Artist Initiative grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the MN State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. A community potluck and conversation! Bring your passion, creativity and a dish to pass! Registration is based off of our Facebook RSVP's and we are asking for folks to contribute what they can to help support the space, the artists and the project. Suggested donation of $20, but $5, $10, $15, $20 - what ever you have to offer will be so appreciated!
