Yukon Cornelius

• Vail Resorts puts on an early winter festival called Snow Daze. This past December, the band Yukon Cornelius came to play. We partnered with Vail Resorts and our local newspaper- Vail Daily to present an integrated campaign to our listeners for a chance to find Yukon Cornelius- hidden in a different spot each day, and tickets to the show.

• The Vail Daily ran advertising each day letting people know what time to listen to 97.7 for details about finding Yukon Cornelius.

• The newspaper also ran the photo of Yukon that was found the day prior.

• Every day on the radio we directed people to our text messaging campaign- Text YUKON to 75309 for clues. We would give out several clues each day until Yukon was found.

• The text message was sponsored by SnowDaze with a short sponsor message.

• We had an image of Yukon Cornelius on our website, that when clicked would give people clues already given on the text messaging, as well as information about Snow Daze and the free concerts- and the Yukon Cornelius show.

• All of the advertising surrounding the actual event directed people to kzyr.com for more information.
