Crediton & District Access GroupApril 2013
This year the Crediton and District Access Group comes of age having been founded in 1992. We are celebrating this by moving forward into the electronic age.As from April 2013 the Access Guide will be included on the website of Crediton Town Council.
I thank all those people within the Group who have been involved with this new venture and also the many local businesses and organisations who have also helped.
As I said in my preface to the Access Guide we published in 2007 care has been taken to be as accurate as possible, but if you do find any inaccuracies please let us know on 01363 774350 or 01363 773557. Whereas the written word cannot be updated easily it will be much simpler with the new format.
Now that people are living longer, disability will sadly become more widespread and the object of the Group to promote awareness and campaign for access to all public facilities will still be relevant not just for disabled people but for all.We are regularly consulted on access issues in relation to new and existing buildings, open spaces, parking and transport.

We would be delighted to welcome new members who not only bring new ideas but also enable the Group to continue to be of service to the community. The Group meets on the third Tuesday of every month (except August) 11.00am at Crediton Hospital.
