INTEC Business School

Programme Types offered at INTEC CollegeNational Qualifications are credit-bearing qualifications registered on the NQF and accredited by a Quality Assurance Body, such as a SETA. A skills programme is an accredited component of a national qualification.

INTEC Provider Programmes are INTEC’s vocational certificates and diplomas that enhance your skills and improve your career opportunities. Provider Programmes are not linked to the NQF, but they are in high demand and carry the approval of the INTEC Academic Board.

Embarking on a career as a chartered secretary involves a life long-career relationship between the Institute and its students, who progress to become CIS members. This qualification is designed with the idea to introduce the basics of

bookkeeping to individuals entering the bookkeeping environment; this qualification is

registered on SAQA (South African Qualifications Framework) and focuses mainly on the principles of bookkeeping. Students should be able to complete functions including Creditors control, payroll, IRP and VAT as well as Tax functions.

The FETC Bookkeeping qualification as set out on the South African Qualifications

Framework refers to mainly the more senior functions of bookkeeping like the analysis of

financial year statements for companies as small as sole traders and as large as closed corporations. This is only a few of this really fulfilling programme that will see you knocking at the door of being a financial technician in Accounting.
