The Walking Dead

Its a Non-Linear OTS:

• To introduce the theme of zombies and disaster in Atlanta

• To symbolize themes: loneliness, devastation, panic, death, survival

• Introduce the characters

The OTS prepares for the film by:

• Establishing the sub genre (zombie)

• Establishing the setting (Atlanta)

• Establish the themes

• Creates Narrative Enigma:

• What happened? (disaster happened)

• Where did everyone go? (city is left deserted)

• How will they overcome this level disaster?

Page 3: Final twd

The Walking Dead (continued)

• No action is happening/ special affects or dead bodies

• Reinforces of the aspect of disaster/virusPresent credits and the main title:

• Rule of Thirds

• For actors second name is in bold

• Black and whit font to stand out

• Main title 'Dead' and 'Walking' are much bolder
