Executive Profile:

The “go to guy”; that’s me. I am 22 years old and have held three jobs, all for at least a year. My

first title when entering the workforce was ‘smoothie artist’ at Smoothie King. As I grew in this

position, I was slowly given more responsibilities, and after about six months I was entrusted

with the responsibility of training new employees, and managing the floor when our head

manager was not working. After leaving Macon to attend college at Georgia Southern University

I found myself in search of a job that would fit into my college schedule, the best option for me

was a position as a bouncer at a local night club. The title really doesn’t do this experience

justice. I worked at Rudy’s for two years, and over those two years I learned so much about life.

My position as assistant head bouncer required strong sales, leadership, and organization skills. I

was not only responsible for maintaining good conduct from customers, but I was also

responsible for collecting entrance fees, selling numerous event tickets, managing the door, and

floor staff, and overseeing after hours cleaning, and employee payment. My third job was a

seasonal summer position where I worked at the family insurance company under my father

selling, quoting, and collecting payments from companies and customers. Working with my

father was challenging but it taught me how to be a more effective communicator and negotiator.

It also showed me my flaws and allowed me to correct them. My father is my hardest critique,

and while that is difficult to deal with, it is also very constructive, and working with him over my

summer vacations grew me as an employee. In all of my positions, I was known as the guy to go

to if you want something done. I see a challenge, and I conquer it.

Skill Highlights:

I have amazing social skills. I can talk to anyone about anything, and I am really attentive to the

needs of others. I like assisting people, and thrive on knowing I improved someone’s life. I also

enjoy helping people realize their potential, and seeing them succeed. My passion is working out,

and that has taught me so much. A huge skill I developed in the last six years of my fitness

transformation is teamwork. I love having a workout partner to push me to go further, and create

new ideas and workouts with while still having a good time and getting the job done. While I

have great social skills, I am a task oriented worker at heart. I like having a list of things to do,

and being able to check them off one by one. It is a rewarding feeling to see my list for the day

diminishing, knowing that I am getting work done. I am very driven and focused, I like getting in

the zone and knocking tasks out. Working at a bar for the last two years has also taught me to be

quick on my feet; I act well under pressure, and adjust quickly to changes. I also pride myself on

organization, and like to maintain a clean and orderly environment. Overall, my biggest asset is

my drive; when I want to get something done, it’s done. I don’t quit on a job until it’s complete

and I’ve succeeded.

Core Accomplishments:

I have experienced many accomplishments in my short 22 years. I see each day as an

accomplishment because every day I am working in some way toward a larger goal. Some of

these goals are small, like getting a dog, or building a desk for my new house, while others are

much larger like reaching my fitness potential, becoming a pro athlete in the bodybuilding

community, and being sponsored by a company to compete. I get closer to accomplishing these

goals every day and will work relentlessly until I do. Another goal that seemed so far away a few

short years ago was being the first person in my family to graduate from college. This dream that

seemed so impossible at one point is soon approaching, and I am scheduled to graduate in May

of 2015. Another accomplishment is becoming financially independent from my parents, and

year by year I get closer to fully reaching that goal. I was blessed with parents who were able to

support my dreams of attending college, but I know how much a financial burden that may be.

Because of this, I have had a job constantly since entering college in order to support myself as

much as possible. While I have many accomplishments under my belt, they were not gained

easily. I have learned over the last few years that the road to success is paved with many failures.

I am not afraid to fail, that doesn’t mean I’m not cautious because I am; I think of every possible

outcome before I make a decision, but at the same time I am willing to take risks, and bet on

myself. My biggest accomplishment is discovering how powerful I am. If I can think it, I can

achieve it.

Personal Experience:

Floor Manager Smoothie King: March 2008- August 2010

I dealt with customers, problems with machines, retail sales, counting money at the end of the

night, and above all, made delicious smoothies. I was also in charge of counting the ingredients

in stock, and ordering what was needed.

Assistant Head Bouncer at Rude Rudys: May 2011- April 20, 2014

I worked as a bouncer for a year, and then as time went by, I worked my way up and become

assistant head bouncer. I dealt with unhappy customers, opening and closing, and I was in charge

when the head bouncer was gone or not on schedule. I also was in charge of paying people at the

end of the night, organizing events, selling tickets for events, and making sure all employees

performed their responsibilities on the bouncer staff.

Budget Insurance: Summer 2008, Summer 2009, Summer 2010

I worked as a sales associate in the office; I gave insurance quotes, dealt with cold calling,

advertised, was in charge of counting money at the end of the night, and handling customer’s late

payments. This included dealing with customers both in person, and over the phone. I also

handled the business social media page, and built it for them as they did not previously have one.

Education:

I graduated from Stratford Academy in Macon Georgia in 2010. I currently attend Georgia

Southern University in Statesboro Georgia; where I am majoring in biology pre-med. I have

contemplated on attending medical school eventually . I am set to graduate in the spring of 2015,

so I have completed all major courses except for the final three I am currently taking. When I

graduate I will have a B.S. in biology. I have worked in labs, dealt with chemicals, animals, and

used machines in the laboratories.
