My trend tended to be combining photography and images found on the web. Photoshop was the best program to use to alter the photos and images that I intended to use. My favorite project would have to be “A Place Called Home”. Although it had the most problems, I learned from them. I enjoyed adding my own drawn artwork and scanning it into the finished digital image. It turned into a great success. The use of filters also made my work look more artistic. If it weren’t for the online tutorials, I wouldn’t be as improved with Adobe as I am now. Since I don’t have Photoshop or any of these Adobe programs on my laptop, it’s nearly impossible to just fiddle around with it. Even though this is the case, I believe I have greatly improved since last year. As you may know, I will no longer be concentrating in graphic design after this year. I am changing to animal science and transferring to NC State but still hope to keep art my minor. I have enjoyed learning as much about the different programs and print making styles this semester as the next person but I needed a change and I believe animal science will prove me well.

Final Project Statement

For each project that was done in the Visual Design class, I always used Adobe

Photoshop. My trend tended to be combining photography and images found on the web.

Photoshop was the best program to use to alter the photos and images that I intended to

use. My favorite project would have to be “A Place Called Home”. Although it had the

most problems, I learned from them. I enjoyed adding my own drawn artwork and

scanning it into the finished digital image. It turned into a great success. The use of filters

also made my work look more artistic.

If it weren’t for the online tutorials, I wouldn’t be as improved with Adobe as I

am now. Since I don’t have Photoshop or any of these Adobe programs on my laptop, it’s

nearly impossible to just fiddle around with it. Even though this is the case, I believe I

have greatly improved since last year.

As you may know, I will no longer be concentrating in graphic design after this

year. I am changing to animal science and transferring to NC State but still hope to keep

art my minor. I have enjoyed learning as much about the different programs and print

making styles this semester as the next person but I needed a change and I believe animal

science will prove me well.
