Pandemic and beyond12 - 13 June

presents

Final Program

Track two Refinements of Practice for the New Standard of Care

For most sonologists, underlying the glitter of the latest science there is a mountain of experience, knowledge, and scientific data. This track will seek to enhance the power of ultrasound in the hands of practitioners who have scanned long enough to know that there are always ways to improve. Talks from worldwide authorities will include the latest evidence reviews on test characteristics, novel indications for common ultrasound applications, best practice guidelines, pearls and pitfalls of scanning technique, knobology, and image optimization. There will be presentations from leaders in the field on topics ranging from critical care to resource limited settings.

Agenda

Track one New Landscapes, New Challenges

“New Landscapes, New Challenges” will highlight cutting-edge science of PoCUS: new evidence, new approaches, and new visions. Leading investigators from around the world will discuss recent scientific advances and how they are likely to impact future practice. New vistas and challenges facing the science of sonology will be covered in a variety of sessions including cardiac ultrasound, pediatrics, critical care, resuscitation, and education. For non-English speakers, this track will include sessions in Spanish and Mandarin.

Track three ASEAN – China PoCUS Session (sponsored by Mindray)

Selected speakers from countries member of the Association of SouthEast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and China will present cutting edge

PoCUS topics for Critical Care. A live PoCUS workshop will be held for a selected group of participants. The session will be also translated in Mandarin, and it is organized in collaboration with Mindray.
