was ashamed of my irresoluteness. That is why I always used to have difficulties

choosing something and often regretted what I did. However, influenced by her, I

become a detergent and enthusiastic person. While at university, I made a plan for

each vacation and exerted myself to fulfill it. When I was a freshman, I had an

opportunity to learn mime to change my introverted personality. Also, I earned

money by tutoring as a part-time job. The next year, I went backpacking in Europe

with my savings. When I was a junior, I obtained a computer license and got good

scores on the TOEIC. During my last vacation, I studied hard in order to take a

teacher certification examination. As soon as I took a test, I went backpacking in

China, Taiwan and Cambodia. On my journey, I was pleased at the news that I finally

passed an examination. Now, I am thankful my dream came true and take great pride

in my work, teaching. Clearly, Han biya’s story was great encouragement to me in

changing my life to better way.

She always motivates me to do something valuable and meaningful. In fact, she says

that she is doing what she really wants to do now and that is a relief refugee activity.

It was not an easy choice to devote her whole life to helping others. Her story made

me feel ashamed. When I went to Cambodia last winter vacation, I met many poor

children who sold postcards, hats and scarf. They sometimes begged me for money,

just one or two dollars. Even though I had enough money to travel, I could not give

them a helping hand. I was scared to help them because many travelers warned me

against bad beggars and children. After becoming a teacher and having Ethics class, I

was ashamed to emphasize “Helping Others” to my children because I did not. Since

then, I have joined the World Vision and given 10,000 won donation every month. I

also try to help poor and weak people on the street or subway. Her story clearly

demonstrated to me what it meant to have a worthwhile life of helping people.

I hope that all the people are doing a work make their heart beat every day. I have

confidence that doing what they want ardently is best way to live happily. As being an

elementary school teacher is my earnest desire, I can always work cheerfully. These

days, I make an effort to follow my three plans this year – successfully completing

this English training course, meeting new students with endlesss love and advanced

teaching skills and preparing the entrance examination of graduate school.

Furthermore, I exert myself to be decisive, enthusiastic and courageous on my work.

I also try to lead a valuable and meaningful life doing helping others. For her

inspiration story, I will be forever grateful and Han Biya will be not only my hero but

also my permanent role-model.
