Please Note: There are challenges with “cross walking” the DC:0-3R to the DSM-5. The DSM-5 eliminated the DSM-IV-TR diagnosis “Disorder

of Infancy, Childhood, or Adolescence, NOS,” with no appropriate substitution specific to infants and young children. In addition; NOS (Not

Otherwise Specified) is no longer an option. Other Specified and Unspecified have been added to most of the diagnoses. This “crosswalk”

represents this clinician’s best clinical judgment in the use of the DSM-5 diagnoses. Clinicians are encouraged to use the DC:0-3R in

diagnosing infants and young children and “crosswalk” to the ICD-9 codes until October 1, 2015 and then to the ICD-10 codes for billing

purposes.
