Project Description OCP Productions Ltd was preparing to film several scenes for a feature film (RoboCop) at the Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC) West. Their scenes were all set at night, and most involved weapons and simulated gunfire. In order to have enough hours of darkness to complete their scenes, the production company needed permission from the City of Vancouver to extend the filming curfew. PlaceSpeak Contribution PlaceSpeak provided a web-based platform to respond to questions and comments, and allow residents to indicate (via poll) whether or not they supported the overnight filming. Project Outcome As a result of the input gathered through PlaceSpeak, OCP Productions Ltd received an extension of the filming curfew, and were able to film overnight.
