What is the BBFC?

Catorgorise films by age, on what is acceptable for each age category. (U-R18)

The certificate of our thriller opening will be..15!!This is because it is a action thriller meaning there will be violence, but not explicit and gory which would be suitable for an 18 certificate. As well as this ,by having a 15 certificate that means our target audience of young adults would be able to view it and engage with the story.

Suitable for kids 4 and over Films or DVDs with this BBFCinsight do not portray discrimination, drugs, horror, imitable behaviour, language excluding damn’ and ‘hell’‘bloody’ or ‘bugger’ , nudity, sex, theme or violence.
