PROJECT EVERY CHILD A READER PROGRAM
In support of the DepEd Central Office’s thrust of ensuring that
every child manifest basic literacy skill by Grade Three, this Project
ensures that all students have the capacity to be fully functional citizens
by acquiring literacy skills. It is supported by an array of activities which
measures and complements the literacy development of the child specially
in primary grades. Standardized assessments, in the form of Phil-IRI and
Oral Reading Verification are regularly conducted.
Development of materials and conduct of trainings for teachers are
also included.

1. Curriculum Writeshop about the Kasaysayang
Lokal of Bataan Part II
A continuation of the historical written
accounts of Bataan, starting from 1942 up to
2010, entitled “BATAAN: DUGTONG TANAW”
with focus on the essential events, dates,
figures, personalities and places.
2. Compilation of Barangay origin for each town
in Bataan and Local Heroes
Continuous collection of important data about
the origin/history of barangay and the
achievements made by the identified local
heroes for the enhancement of localization in
the K to 12 Araling Panlipunan Curriculum.
3. Revival of mini-museum in selected schools
and municipalities
Collection of artifacts and essential
documents of each town, featuring their own
local history starting from Pre-Spanish period,
Spanish, English, Americans and the
Japanese era.
4. Big books for Madrasah learners Level I
A supplementary reading materials intended
for Filipino-Muslim learners in Arabic
Language and Islamic Values Education
(ALIVE), focus on the interesting and
motivating stories about the appreciation of
the culture of Muslim.

PROGRAMS/PROJECTS IN KINDERGARTEN
1 Program Implementation Review ( PIR)
( This is done once a year with the training team and principal coordinators in Kindergarten as participants. It aims to review and reflect on the different
programs and projects being implemented in the Division. It also serves as planning for the next school year)
2 Project "Let"s Count"
(It is a mathematical program for kindergarten that supports parents and teachers in their quest to develop the math skills of children and help them see
math as relevant, stimulating and fun which sets them up for future success.)
3 Project "Big Book"
(Since story telling is an everyday activity in kindergarten, teachers were tasked
to make big books for the stories that they are using. A quarterly writeshop for the development of big books was already part of the kindergarten program. )
4 Division Kindergarten Festival of Talents
( The activity aims to acknowledge and promote student excellence in various areas and to provide formal recognition of student achievements that can motivate learners to strive for excellence not just in academic but also in
leadership, and social responsibility)
5 Division Trainings
( For Untrained - This is an annual training given to newly hired teachers and
newly promoted school heads For Regular Teachers - This is done twice a year to update and enhance the skill of teachers based on their need.)
