Filigree Wrapped Bail Pendant

Center the pendant on theinside of the filigree withpetals on either side of thehole at the top.

While holding pieces inplace, use chain nosepliers to turn in the petalsof the filigree.

Work from opposite sidesto create a symmetricalwrap.

Continue to crimp thefolded petals tightlyagainst the pendant untilthey are symmetrical andsecure.

Center a 4 inch piece of18 gauge artisan copperwire through the hole inthe pendant until the endsare equal. Use yourfingers to gently bend bothends of the wire up abovethe hole.

While holding thependant in place formone end of wire along topof pendant and so that itis sticking straight up.Cross the opposite wireleaving a slight gap abovependant.

Use chain nose pliers towrap bent wire up theneck of the straight wire.End your last coil on theback side of the pendant.

Use flush cutter to trimthe excess wire off thetop coil on the back side.7 8

Use chain nose pliers tostraighten your coils andto tuck in the end of wire.

Use round nose pliers to form a wrapped loop withstraight wire. Trim excesswire, straighten loop andcrimp down end of wireinto coils.
