Step 1: Open the document.

Step: 2: In the home tab find the tab ‘conditional formatting’.

Step 3: Now highlight the rows or columns you’d like to format.

Step 4 : Using the conditional formatting options, format the highlighted rows or columns you selected.

Step 5: Select the format option you’d like and it will format it for you.

Step 1: Open the document.

Step 2: To find the total amount you need to add together all the total purchases.

Step 3: Title a box below the total purchases column as ‘total’.

Step 4: Now type ‘=SUM(’.

Step 5: Hold the shift button and use the up arrow to highlight all the total purchases or drag the mouse over them. Now close the bracket ‘)’ and press enter, your total should calculate.

Step 7: In that box click the ‘number’ tab and change the decimal place to ‘0’ and click ‘ok’.
