The Heinzmann PRIAMOS digital governor is extensively used for large marine based diesel generator sets with either the STG90-01 or the STG180-01 all electric actuators. The control box has 4 main connectors and has non reversible dedicated cable connections to each of the plugs. The control box has a 4 quadrant drive for large actuators with a secondary separate 36 - 40 volt DC high current supply to the actuator motor drive. The control circuits and the processor relies on a lower current, 24V DC auxiliary supply. The speed set-point is either via an internal value or external manual speed potentiometer or 4-20mA bridge or local set-point. Boost pressure fuel limit is also programmed into the unit with a fuel delivery curve for smoke limitation and load acceptance. The parameters are set via an external laptop with Heinzmann DC Desk programming software., which is connected via a RS232 input into plug 4 of the control box.

OVERHAUL SERVICE OFFERED

Governor Technical Solutions offers a comprehensive control box overhaul service for all Heinzmann digital ranges . Common faults, such a switch mode supply failures and I/O settings are routinely undertaken.

The overhaul service is based on a 3-5 day turnaround from receipt of the customers control unit and confirmation in writing of the overhaul quotation . An express service is also available including weekend working.

It should be noted that in some cases the overhaul will take longer if there are major problems such a the switch mode power supply being short circuit.

All parts replaced are genuine, to the original manufacturers specification and come with a 12 month warranty. Extended warranty is also available on request. However this does depend upon the diesel engines duty.
