The new British Prime Minister came up with the Convoy System.

Large groups of merchants ships protected by destroyers. Only lost 1 in 100.

The only gleam of hope for the allies in 1917 came in the deserts of the Turkish empire.

The British and Indian troops had been fighting the Turks in Mesopotamia since 1915.
