About The AuthorE L James is a former TV executive, wife and mother of two based in West London. Since early childhood shedreamed of writing stories that readers would fall in love with, but put those dreams on hold to focus on her family andher career. She finally plucked up the courage to put pen to paper with her first novel, Fifty Shades of Grey.

I loved all three of these books. I think the best one was the second book Fifty shades darker. I can't wait for the movieto come out. I thought the books were well written. They kept my interest and I thought they are very erotic. I gotsome good ideas from them to try on my own husband. I love all the characters. Sometimes I felt like smacking Ana myself because she does some stupid stuff in the booksbut I loved Christian. At times he does go over the top but that's his personality and the author explains why he doeswhat he does. I hope EL james writes more books.

So I got this book, scared because of all the negative attention, but after 2 people telling me it was great I just couldn'thelp it. So I got the sampler and just had to finish.Read all three in a weekend for the story. Now I am rereading it again for a psychological perspective. It is an amazingpsychological study of how humans take different things and turn them.Please give the books a chance, and don't let what people consider "normal" to sway you from reading it. Just soamazing, the author actually was inspired by twilight and as I explained to my own mother, this is the adult version oftwilight, with no vampires and real life problems...

I am not a reader at all but from page one these books sucked me in! I read them in record time! I fell in love with thecharacters immediately. What I would loke go know is.. is there really anyone like fifty out there! ;)
