CHECK LIST FOR VIRTUAL MASS CELEBRATION
You may want to set a table like an Altar.
You can put a piece of white fabric on it to represent the color of Easter, our
current Liturgical season.
If you have a Bible, Crucifix, candles, Rosary or other religious items you can decorate the Altar with them.
Perhaps you want to change the
seating or add some pillows to the floor to kneel on.
As you participate at the Mass via stream, remember to say
the responses, sing the songs, say the Our Father, etc.
After saying a prayer for Spiritual Communion,
“Break Bread” together even though it is not the Eucharist, it
can be a powerful symbol.
During Mass the Prayer for Pandemic will be prayed.
Pray that our families find loving and creative ways to make it through the quarantine.
Every Sunday during the Easter Season!!!! Except if it is raining..........
After the 10 AM Mass every Sunday during the Easter Season, Fr. Tomasz and Dea-con Chris will be offering Easter Blessings to anyone that wants to drive through the

Reflections :
Has there ever been anything in your life that, once you experienced it, forever changed the way you see things? Something that like, altered your vision and mindset, making it nearly impossible to see things the way you used to? I’m talking about events/encounters/experiences etc. that have, perhaps unexpectedly, supplied you with new information or a point of reference that you’ve never considered. And I don’t mean bad things that have happened in our lives. Of course, bad experiences can change the way we see things, but not always in good ways. Life these days can be hard enough, so for right now - let’s stay positive! For example, scientists tell us that there are these things called ‘phytonutrients’ that are found in colorful fruits and vegetables, and that these chemicals have some enormous health benefits. These fantastic little Phyto-chemicals can actually ‘…repair damage to DNA that occurs from exposure to toxins and harmful free radicals.’ (WebMD) Amazing right! So, perhaps, after knowing something like this, we might look differently at things like blueberries, beets or cantaloupe. See where I’m going with this? (It’s really ok if you didn’t respond to that last question with a resounding ‘yes!’ - I get that a lot) We all have things that have changed our perspective, some a little, some a ton. The birth of a child is an obvious one perhaps, and the notion that we’d better deal with any hurts, hang-ups or habits that we’ve been carrying around, because we know too well that what we don’t resolve, will most likely be passed down to our kids. A good example of perspective changing might be to try to imagine what it was like for Eric Clapton and any other rock guitarist of the late 1960’s to witness Jimi Hendrix play for the first time. Life completely changed. A new era had begun. They could either accept it, stay open to it and ride that wave or pack up their instrument for good. I can think of many things that completely changed my perspective. Like, when I discovered professional wrestling was, well, more entertainment and less of a sport, and that George ‘The Animal’ Steele was really a teacher from Michigan State! (how can he teach? He can’t even talk! So, you’re telling me that the guy on tv with the green tongue who just tore apart the turnbuckle holding the ring together and is eating the stuff inside…that guy? Is something other than a crazed lunatic?). It changed my perspective. I imagine something similar happening in today’s gospel of John. Jesus is telling his disciples that the time is coming for him to leave, ‘…I am going to prepare a place for you.’ (John 14:3) Naturally, the disciples were confused. Where was Jesus going? How could they find him? Thomas and Philip were vocal about their need for assurance. They wanted a map of how to find Jesus - they hadn’t yet understood the big picture, and understandably so, as they were most likely sad and confused, not really believing what they were hearing coming from the mouth of their friend for whom they had so much love. Jesus knows, of course, that his friends had not yet grasped the enormity of what was happening in their lives. They hadn’t allowed their perception’s to be changed because they were still processing the fear that they were soon going to be alone and without guidance. In his mercy and love, Jesus talks to them in a way they can grasp by simply saying, ‘…believe because of the works themselves.’ In other words, look at all that I’ve done, all that we’ve done together, changing people’s lives with the power of love, mercy and forgiveness. This has only been possible because of the Father’s love working through me, and it is the power of this Love that will bring me back to you. In these difficult times, let us remember the power that love has had in our lives, especially when we’ve needed it most. Let us recall those times when it seemed like we’d be crushed under the weight of something difficult, but weren’t because God was there even when we lost faith. Let us remember the amazing works God has done in our lives, things that have changed our view of ourselves or others. Perhaps, we can share these experiences with others who may be struggling to see God at work in their lives.

The Knights of Columbus will again be sponsoring a “BABY SHOWER” on the weekend of May 9 & 10 (Mother’s Day weekend).
During these difficult times, it is important to reach out to help those mothers and their ba-
bies in need at Problem Pregnancy in Worcester. We will again be setting up a port-a-crib that will be available in both St. Patrick's and St. Peter’s parish for donations on Friday, April 24. Donations needed include any infant essentials, clothing up to size 18 months and new or gently used strollers, car seats, pack & plays and maternity clothes. Any articles can be dropped off by placing them in the port-a-crib at each church during the week or after each mass during the weekends. Anything that you can offer will be greatly appreciated for the mothers who have decided to keep their babies. If you have any questions, please call Rich Green at 508-341-3875 or Lou Pepin at 508-234-6664. Please consider helping the Knights in this worthy cause.
