Fiery Command WorkStation Fiery® Command WorkStation®, the print job management interface for Fiery servers, makes printing more productive, powerful and intuitive. It centralises job management, connects to all Fiery servers on the network and improves results for increased productivity. The intuitive interface makes complex jobs simple, regardless of the operator’s experience, while the fl exible software adapts to any environment.

Uncluttered WorkspaceAn uncluttered workspace is one key to working productively. The Fiery Command WorkStation helps to accomplish this task using the Job Center area, a centralised location to view and manage jobs sent to the Fiery server. It is the operator’s main user interface for all job management and set-up controls.

The Job Center is the operator’s main interface for all job management and setup controls for Fiery servers.

Fiery JobMaster provides advanced PDF-based job-preparation functions.

Optional Fiery JobMaster and Fiery Impose Fiery Command WorkStation integrates with powerful makeready applications that run within its intuitive visual interface. Each application comes with many benefi ts:

• Fiery Impose enables error-free layout at the sheet level. It enables visual booklet and gangup imposition styles, including variable data jobs, for powerful, accurate job handling.

• Fiery Compose performs document makeready functions at the page level including basic tab design, media assignment, fi nishing and late-stage editing capabilities.

• Fiery JobMaster provides advanced PDF-based makeready functions beyond Fiery Compose including fully visual tab insertion and design with additional capabilities such as multibank and bleed-edge tab programming. Other document assembly features include page numbering, hard-copy scanning and clean-up.

• Fiery Impose and Fiery JobMaster can work independently or in a tightly integrated workfl ow, allowing users to perform these functions in the same window in any order.

Automated Workfl owsDrop zones highlight multiple drag-and-drop areas where jobs can be imported. Inline selection of automated workfl ows allows the operator to apply job presets directly from the job list.

• Print Shop managers can create and publish workfl ows, including Server Presets, Virtual Printers and Hot Folders.

• Operators can take advantage of these automated workfl ows by quickly printing jobs with Virtual Printers, importing jobs using Hot Folders or applying workfl ows to jobs already in the held queue.

• Automated workfl ows enable operators to push jobs through the system faster and also limit the opportunity for error.

Flexible PreviewsFiery Command WorkStation o� ers a fully visual interface that makes the user experience more productive with:

• Fiery Preview shows how content will be positioned on pages and helps you to navigate through the entire document with ease.

• Preview of processed jobs allows you to drag and drop pages from other jobs to easily add, delete, re-order and merge.

• Job summaries in the preview pane show paper type and weight, in addition to the paper catalogue name and size.

Fiery ImageViewer* Command WorkStation o� ers access to Fiery ImageViewer, the state-of-the-art softproofi ng application that previews the job’s raster image for a last-minute check of what will be printed on the paper with the ability to edit colour curves and export for approval.

Fiery Image Enhance Visual Editor** Optimise image appearance and create custom corrections for brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows, colour balance, sharpness or red-eye.

Cohesive System Administration The Device Center integrates everything an administrator needs to set up and manage the Fiery server resources from a single workspace, including fonts, workfl ows, intuitive colour set-up, spot colour management, variable data printing resources and more.
