2.4. Operation The two guide flanges ensure the lateral centering of the clamp.

The cylinder causes the jaws to move when you keep the trigger pressed.

2.5. Use

The pliers must be handled with both hands on the cylinder’s body during the entire clipping cycle to prevent shearing and pinching risks.

4. PROBLEM RESOLUTION

Problem Causes Solution

1 The jaws do not close.

Lack of compressed air.

Defective trigger or valve block.

Check compressed air supply connection as well as trigger and control valve integrity.

Replace them if necessary

2 Compressed air leaks around the hose connection.

Hose not properly fitted in connector.

Check hose connection.

3 Compressed air leaks around the control valve.

Control valve or O-rings worn out.

Replace the O-rings or the valve kit.

4 Loss of power Improper air supply or leaks Check that pressure complies with instruction manual and search for leaks.

5 Clamp not clipped

Wrong head Check if the head PN is adapted to the clamp to clip.

Worn out jaws Check the jaw’s closing dimension

Loose nut Check if the head’s fastening nut is properly tightened.

Worn out or broken axes Check for clearance in the axes

6 The jaws do not return to initial position

Damaged or broken springs Replace the springs

Chips/debris creating mechanical blocking

Clean with compressed air (blower)
