COMPANY P R O F I L E

For decades the Nolan Group has been Australia’s leading supplier of Fibre-bonded commercial floorcoverings.

This program started back in the early 1970’s where in collaboration with Autex Industries, a successful program was developed.

Autex were manufacturers of a world renown range of fibre-bonded commercial carpets and the Nolan Group with their network

across Australia were their Australian partners. This partnership evolved and went from strength to strength. It wasn’t long before

the Autex range of carpets was considered the benchmark for heavy duty commercial flooring. By their very nature, fibre bonded

carpets are ‘bullet proof’. Hard wearing and stain resistance is only the beginning. It’s no surprise that applications such as school

classrooms, retail stores and sporting stadiums all over Australia are covered in the Nolan Carpets.

As often happens with many successful companies, business direction can change. In synergy with their carpet program, Autex

were building a successful interior acoustics product portfolio. This product sector grew and became so popular they had to make

a very difficult decision. In 2018, they announced they would exit manufacturing commercial carpet to focus on interior acoustics.

Throughout the 12 months that followed, Autex worked in partnership with the Nolan Carpet product development team to

establish a new manufacturer of fibre bonded carpets. Using the same manufacturing techniques, fibre supplier and specification

fibre, the 2019 Nolan Carpets fibre-bonded collection is almost a clone of its predecessor with a few additional bells and whistles.

The 2019 Nolan Carpets Fibre-Bonded Collection is manufactured by English based company, Heckmondwike, who themselves

have decades of manufacturing experience. Our next generation of Nolan Fibre-bonded Carpets will continue to raise the bar

for performance and functionality.
