FibrallInstallation examples
2. Laying of the Fibrall sheets on the old roof. Laying opeation can be made while the workers walk on the new sheet with an increasing safety on the construction site.
1. Applying the Ecofix fixative to prevent dispersion of the asbestos cement fibres.
4. Joining the pitches with the curved ridge.
3. Fixing the Eteral sheet on the old roofing with Alublok fixings without removing the old ones.

The support base of Alubel products on the purlins must not be lower than 40 mm for the metal supports and 50 mm for the wooden supports. For what concerns the wheelbase of the supports, follow the scope charts related to each Alubel’s products. Regarding the walkability, we recommend to not exceed the wheelbase of 1 m of support. Before starting the assembly operations of the product it is advisable to lay a wire parallel to the gutter line or converse, in order to obtain a perfect square of the covering. The number of fixing points is defined by various factors such as, for example: • sheet length• the climatic zone• mechanical features of fixing system• the position of the sheet on the covering (area)• the slopeAs shown in the table below, areas are identified on the roof according to the level of risk due to wind action.

FibrallFixing requirements
The designer must previously effectuate the verification of the number of fasteners. Ap-proximately, we briefly illustrate a fixing scheme normally used on Alubel roofing systems. We remind you that the number of fixings changes in relation to the span of the substruc-ture support. It is advisable to check that even the purlins, in particular those relating to the Fstrong and Fmed bands, are more anchored to the structure. In the case of structures without floor slabs and not walled in areas particularly subject to strong winds, it is nec-essary to increase the number of fixings, also included in the Fmin band. However, Alubel declines all responsibility for incorrect installation of its products. It is the responsibility of the designer and / or user to proceed with the individual use cases and to determine the specific planning applications of the package of couverture.
