SUMMER OF LOVE: LOVING GOD & LOVING PEOPLE WITH ALL OF OUR HEARTSWednesdays, June 3–August 5 | 6–7:30pm | Student Outreach CenterThis summer our middle and high schoolers are going to take a closer look at love. If God is love, and the greatest commandment is to love Him (and then to love each other), then we need to figure out what we’re talking about!

What do we mean when we say things like, “I love college football,” and “I love my wife,” and “I love the Beatles,” and “Jesus loves me”? These can’t be the same, can they?

The great Christian thinker and writer C.S. Lewis wrote a little book called The Four Loves that can help us clarify what we’re meaning when we talk about love. Over the course of the summer, we’ll take a closer look at each of these loves — Storge, Philia, Eros, Agape — and examine what they mean for our lives.
