    His Excellency Sis W I L L I A M S T A W E L L , Acting-Governor of Victoria,

    ON WEDNESDAY, THE 1 OTH NOVEMBER, AT 2 . 3 0 O'CLOCK P . M . , When the Public will be admitted at a fee of 2s. 6d.

    Non-Members will be admitted during the adjudicating of the Judges on W E D N E S D A Y , from 1 0 a.m. to 2 p.m., on payment of a fee

    of 5s. each. From 2 p.m., 2s. 6d. His Excellency the Acting-Governor has kindly consented to present

    the Silver Cups to the successful competitors on T H U R S D A Y , the 11th November, at 2 o'clock p.m.

    Admission to the Public on that day, from 9.a.m, 2s. And on Friday, from 9 a.m., Is.

    Forage and Bedding for stock will also be supplied on the Ground by Mr. Ronald Robb, of Fitzroy, at current rates.

    Chapman's City Brass Band will play on the Ground daily, from 12 o'clock noon.

    PRINCE FREDERICK 2nd, sire of Garland, was the winner of the first prize at the Royal Cornwall and Pen with Shows, as young and aged b u l l ; and at the Royal Manchester Exhibit ion, 1S69, stood 4th, be ing the reserve number in a class of 31 animals. His dam, Maid of Athens, was the winner of the first prizes in 1861, at Chippenham and Tredegar ; in 1862, she took the first prizes at the Bath and W e s t o f England , Battersea Roya l , Gloucestershire and Warwickshire , and second prizes at Chippenham and Tredegar ; in 1863, the second prizes at Exeter, Bath and W e s t of England, and Worcester Royal , and the first prize at Gloucestershire ; making together, in two years, seven first and four second prizes. She has not been shown since.

    GARIBALDI, sire of dam, was winner of the first prize at the Roya l Cornwall and several local shows ; also, first prize at the Bath and West of E n g l a n d at Bristol.
